Just started in on the UVI bandwagon thanks to the image-line bundle & subsequent purchases, but do not yet have falcon. Does falcon go on sale often? Has it ever been this low before? Doing a quick google people claim it goes on sale at least once a year but searching this forum I cant seem to find any sales on falcon itself, only expansions. p.s. deal is good until march 18th

Thanks Solidos! I at first thought you got all 3 freebies for any Komplete (which would be a deal) but now realize you do not, so you are correct there is little point of upgrading now and should just wait until the inevitable 50% off sale

Wow this is getting confusing. So apparently you cannot "downgrade" from the different tiers, so if you say upgrade from K10 to K13u, you cannot buy K14s. Seems odd to me to deny sales but apparently thats how it works. But others say if you have another base license in your account, you can run two paths at the same time? I do have an old KOMPLETE 5 registration as well as a VERY old Kontakt 2, so I guess in theory its possible that one of these is upgraded to K14s. How I would specify which Komplete I'm upgrading I have no idea, but as I mentioned I do see both paths available in my offers. I'm just concerned that if I go to K14s that I'm now stuck on the standard level - though I guess I would still show an ultimate license in my account so I should still be able to upgrade back to that path.... Or perhaps its not worth all the worry for a free Groth and I should just use the tools I have lol!

Yeah my NI account shows I can upgrade to either path ($199 K14s, $399 K14u) but the real question is if this will somehow knock me off the ultimate path.

I'm tempted myself, but does anyone know how the NI upgrades / updates work with Komplete and their different tiers? I started with Komplete 10, but for Komplete 13 decided on the "ultimate" tier. Am I able to drop down to Komplete 14 "standard" to take advantage of this deal, and later continue to "update" to ultimate in the future? Also if someone does this deal can you report how the free products are distributed? Are they automatically registered to your account, or are the SN? I already own Lunaris 2 and hopefully would be able to sell this additional license?

SmartEQ has extra functionality yes, but its also functions as an EQ with autogain, band soloing, and multiple filter shapes / dynamic ability. Trying to figure out if Claro offers anything unique or any reason why one would choose it over SmartEQ in a mix? Unsure why this constituted a "strange post" reply, but then I'm a strange guy! But I do appreciate your insight, especially in regards to sonnox pricing and products potentially becoming abandonware. Good things to consider.

Thoughts vs Sonible SmartEQ? Also wonder if this means a new version is coming this year, probably adding dynamic EQ.

US Shipping ($38.56 for me) kills the deal, making it basically the same $50 US price seen at sweetwater, musiciansfriend, etc. If you are adding this to an existing order then it might be worth it. Amazing how expensive shipping from Thomann has become! Dont remember something as small as a mic being almost $40 shipping before

Anyone know how to search by maker in ToneNET? For example. I'm trying to find all the free presets by Jason Sadites. I found his profile on tone.net https://www.tone.net/tonex/users/Jason.Sadites so now how do I see his presets in Tonex? I can browse his presets at the link but cannot see how to download them, and I tried searching inside Tonex for "Jason Sadites" and nothing shows up! So I'm individually copy/pasting preset names from the tonenet website to the app, lol! I must be missing something simple, right?

Just want to say thank you all for the valuable information! It’s a good reminder that fakes do exist so to be vigilant. Hopefully that’s not the case here and look forward to your review when it arrives. ps unless things have changed, not all items ordered at Walmart.com can be returned in store. Learnt that one the hard way a few years ago.
