I have to say, I was totally impressed with the Toontrack Product Manager. It shows me exactly what I have registered and what updates are available. Also shows how big the updates are and allows me to install what I want. Progress indicators at every step. Seems that all product managers should try to reflect this type of setup.

Sadly, Best Service is up to $79. At $49, I would have considered this. But I think I should wait for a sale, or that very special coupon!

Sadly the iRig Keys I/O 49 is NOT one of the qualifying products for this group buy. I did buy it prior to the start of the group sale, and was hoping to register it during the sale to qualify. NO JOY! it does not, and never did qualify for this sale. Only their less expensive controllers qualified, which somehow made sense to IKM, but really doesn't make sense to me. I will certainly have some fun with it, but I think my further software purchases from IKM will be extremely limited, if at all. If anyone knows of a different way to get this to qualify, please let me know!

The patch to SpectraLayers Pro 7 has been very nice to work with. While I haven't been through everything, it is markedly more stable on my setup. The 'Unmix' feature has been helpful in carving out 'voice' in a few recordings so that I may manipulate some reverb reduction. The songs I have been working with only have the finished mix, and I dont have the original stems to work with. "Unmix" has made this easier.

It will be interesting to see how the ‘Improved handling of temporary removal of control surfaces’ works’ as described in the release notes.

I have both. And I work with music as a hobby. Frankly I use Ozone Advanced more, especially with I call ‘mastering.’ More recently I have jumped into using the Fabfilters, but still Ozone’s ‘master assistant’ gives me more ideas and starting points. But I do agree with Brian, learn/explore what you have, then add if needed.

Same error that I have seen for the last 24 hours when I have tried to get into JRRshop. BestService has SO v5 upgrade for $128.08 as previously stated.

Oops! JRRshop appears to be off-line at this critical point in my purchase of the Studio ONE 5 upgrade! I tried a couple of different browsers, and I get the same error when approaching their home page. Suspense city this one might be. I will check back in tomorrow!

I see JRRshop has this for $149, but no coupons. Any better deals for this out there?

The mac version took about 10minutes to download, which is actually moderately good for the connection I have. The Windows version took over 1 hour, and I had to keep hitting the pause/refresh sequence to keep it going. Finally it finished, even after one 'network failure.' Which I assume was a failure on their end, as my other unnameable network activities continued with out interuption. Giving Scalerites an option to skip the 'extra sounds' during this stage of the Scaler 2 show would perhaps be helpful. Now on to testing.

Thanks for this report. I will hold on downloading anything additional till at least this next of next version comes out!
