  1. You are correct! I have mine placed about the same distance apart. I am using floor stands with adjustable height, that swivel easily. Turning mine just slightly inward from parallel seems to provide the sweet spot for the stereo image. If I want headphones, I'll just plug in my Sennheiser HD 280 Pro...
  2. The Ghost Hounds were influenced by Robert Johnson. https://americansongwriter.com/ghost-hounds-bind-the-blues-into-their-rock-n-roll-reverence-on-sophomore-lp-a-little-calamity/
  3. Will have to fiddle around with the fiddle some more this weekend! Distortion, chorus, and delay sounds juicy!!!
  4. Good luck with your new projects, TTF!!! Will miss your productions elsewhere! 😎
  5. 1024, eh? What audio interface and drivers are you using?
  6. Hey @Simeon Amburgey, did Tracy ever reveal the model of fiddle used to record the samples for "The Fiddle"? It sounds very good!
  7. Thank you @Simeon Amburgey, for a great interview with Tracy Collins of Indiginus! I have heard lots of good feedback forTracy! My first experience with Indiginus was with the Amadeus Symphonic Library, that was a collaboration with Sonic Scores and Indiginus. I love the full symphonic patch that was requested by Tracy! So I was recently attracted to The Fiddle, and ended up with that, as well as The Resonator, and The Steel, in my shopping cart! Well done!!!
  8. Well then, what are you waiting for? Hurry up and buy it, LOL!!! Lots of folks are waiting for that chord track in CbB!!! Take one for the team!
  9. The Waveform chord track is not really needed for the Pattern Generator, which keeps up with the chords inside the generator section itself. In fact, that video tutorial was made prior to Waveform including an actual chord track. So the free version would include what you see in the video. The new chord track is more global, in that it can also be used with MIDI parts that are not controlled by the pattern generator, which was a drawback with early versions of Waveform. So yes, it's not a plugin, and you would have to export/import MIDI if you wanted to move back to Cakewalk. This was just presented as an example of a quick and easy way to generate MIDI patterns. For free. But that's why my preference today would be for the Scaler 2 plugin. Work within your DAW of choice.
  10. The MIDI Pattern Generators are included in Waveform Free (based current Waveform 11). https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-free Compare features in the Waveform versions (Free/OEM/Pro): https://www.tracktion.com/products/waveform-compare-versions
  11. If you want some quick, instant gratification, try Tracktion Waveform. A cool Pattern Generator is integrated with the chord track that can generate tracks for arpeggio, chords, bassline, and melody, with styles and presets for each. It also offers suggestions for progressions to next chord based on popular progressions.
  12. It's apparently iLok based. If you already have an iLok account set up with other plugins, this should be a breeze! But if you are allergic to iLok, maybe best to avoid this?
  13. I don't think Scaler 2 forces you to learn theory. On the contrary, it is more like an AI that allows you to apply music theory that you do not yet understand, i.e., it keeps you in the lanes of what sounds good. Scaler 2 keeps evolving, and keeps getting better! Good music is based on timeless, universal rules of melody, harmony, and rhythm. Music theory is just a collection of those rules. Random generative stuff may be fun, and produce somewhat interesting tracks, but you are unlikely to score a hit using that method.
  14. Delete the junk, and keep your inspirational sound pallete right in from of you. At least that is the goal that I'm slowly attempting to achieve. Too many synths and sound libraries get in the way of productivity!
  15. You cannot sell for 90 days. They are locked down.
  16. Plus don't forget to explore the included Syntronik factory multi presets, with some cool splits and layers already setup! Be sure to check out this multi under the "Pad" category: "Moving Pad + Brassy Lead Split". Nice pad for the bass, with a screaming lead on top! 😎
  17. Not sure why anyone would bother to pirate Fathom, since the mono version was always a freebie...???
  18. Sorry about this ya'll, but just had to... 🤣🤣🤣 And for those of you that would now like 3:10 minutes of your life back... well ... 🤪
  19. Firstly, MODO is not a waste of money at all if you can grab it as a Group Buy freebie!!! But the answer is not a clear yes/no for a choice of either EZBass vs. MODO Bass. To oversimplify, a point that Reid made in his detailed YouTube video comparison of EZBass & UJAM, is that if you want to PLAY bass, get a UJAM bass. If you want to COMPOSE a finished bass track for your song, get EZBass. To this, I may add that what you get with MODO Bass is no samples, so no load times. Everything is synthesized in real time. And with almost endless ways to shape your bass instrument and sound. Run MODO through AmpliTube 5 with SVX2 and you have the ultimate tone machine!!! Select full D.I. "10" in MODO, and dial their their AMP mix down to "0.0". So get all three! I did! I just don't think one can replace the other... Edit: after thinking it over, it occurred to me that MODO Bass is probably more of a producer's bass, rather than a player's or composer's bass...
