  1. I'm sure you'll be reaping tracks when that VSTi arrives.
  2. I like the combination of stringed and percussion instruments on this one. May I suggest however a slight drum beat to accentuate the high tone of the strings and maracas.
  3. It's always interesting to hear about these creative solutions musicians come up with.
  4. I've got a handful going on. Still thank you for sharing work.
  5. Thanks for sharing your synth journey! The Juno connection and exploration of the OB-X8 sound intriguing. The banjo twist in space gaming music is a cool touch. Enjoy your Poly D adventure! It may not be a game but it seems to remind me of the anime Cowboy Bebop.
  6. I am excited to hear the latest iteration. I will check it out soon.
  7. Achieving a warm clawhammer banjo sound is always a nice touch. It's unfortunate that the left-hand position moves up with the 5th string hits, causing some inconvenience. Hopefully, Ample Sound takes the feedback into account for Banjo 2.0. Despite the challenge, your use of the banjo as background support sounds great.
  8. It's always helpful to get input, especially on maintaining momentum in certain sections.
  9. I see. Feel free to share your progress with us.
  10. I'll check your work soon. I'm wandering if your channel is monetize?
  11. I see now. Do you use a particular amp and mic setup for your bodhran?
  12. That banjo gives the song a distinct twang.
  13. I can't wait for your next works.
  14. Thank you for sharing, the library included seems tailor made for Irish instruments, but also include others like banjo.
  15. How was your bodhran? I heard that brand's product could use a little help from an amp?
  16. Authentic Soundware has released "The Commodore," a rhythm guitar library for Kontakt, capturing the classic 1960s Detroit soul and Memphis R&B sound. Priced at $69 USD (introductory until Jan 3, 2024) and $99 USD regularly, it features a vintage Fender Telecaster through a restored Altec tube mixer. The library offers the ease of loop-based production and the flexibility of a full Kontakt library, suitable for various genres. Compatible with Kontakt 6.7 or higher (full version).
  17. You're most welcome sir. I am here to support independent musicians of all sorts. Their work resonate with me more than the mainstream ones does.
  18. I love the tracks and the MV itself.
  19. Your setup sounds spot-on for solo and group performances, especially considering the challenges of limited time and no sound check at community events. I completely get the simplicity angle – less fuss means more time for playing. The split stereo mix with bass on the left and drums/keyboards on the right is a clever solution, especially for your bluegrass, folk, and blues-oriented music with acoustic guitars, mandolin, and banjo. It's fantastic how you've tailored your setup to accommodate different scenarios and preferences. And that Radial DI box for laptops and iPads, with the mono toggle, seems like a handy tool, particularly for shows with a sound guy. Your approach to sending bass to a channel and auxiliary it to a bass amp, while keeping drums/keyboards low in the PA or in in-ears, makes a lot of sense. It's all about finding that sweet spot for each element in the mix. Happy picking!
