  1. You're going to skip Windows 9? 😁 (Just kidding, but there actually was a Windows 9. It was used for enclosed devices like kiosks.)
  2. Not a questionable album cover at all! πŸ˜†
  3. Husband: "I want you to have this bracelet. It belonged to my Grandmother." Wife: "Why does it say, 'Do not resuscitate?'"
  4. Ha! And here I thought it was just me! (Of course we always lovingly called them "Trash-80's." 😁 )
  5. It's ok to lower the bar. Midgets need drinks too, ya? 😜
  6. *Wonders if CdB could also be written as CdCd, BCd or BB...* πŸ€”
  7. Hehe... I couldn't help but be reminded of that absolutely horrible Scorpion King CGI scene from the Mummy Returns in my head when I read this! LMAO! 🀣
  8. Ooo! A chance to combine the links from that last two entries (and add fruit)! 😁
  9. Couldn't decide, so you get both! 😁
  10. I like your restraint. I know I couldn't have resisted making the topic title "Score!!!" 😁
  11. 🀣 Interviewer: Can you explain Jazz? Yogi: I can't, but I will. 90% of all Jazz is half improvisation. The other half is the part people play while others are playing something they never played with anyone who played that part. So if you play the wrong part, its right. If you play the right part, it might be right if you play it wrong enough. But if you play it too right, it's wrong. Interviewer: I don't understand. Yogi: Anyone who understands Jazz knows that you can't understand it. It's too complicated. That's what's so simple about it. Interviewer: Do you understand it? Yogi: No. That's why I can explain it. If I understood it, I wouldn't know anything about it. Interviewer: Are there any great Jazz players alive today? Yogi: No. All the great Jazz players alive today are dead. Except for the ones that are still alive. But so many of them are dead, that the ones that are still alive are dying to be like the ones that are dead. Interviewer: What is syncopation? Yogi: That's when the note that you should hear now happens either before or after you hear it. In Jazz, you don't hear notes when they happen because that would be some other type of music. Other types of music can be Jazz, but only if they're the same as something different from those other kinds. Interviewer: Now I really don't understand. Yogi: I haven't taught you enough for you to not understand Jazz that well.
  12. Nice! Just add some cowbell and you've got yourself a hit! πŸ˜†
  13. Hold on, you're getting close to the edge! I suggest you awaken, leave it and release, release while embracing perpetual change. That's my mood for a day, hey, it can happen! Your move! 😁
  14. A common ailment among sheep people today. 😁
  15. I had a girlfriend like that. Once, when I saw a particularly nice guitar, I got it for her. Best trade I'd made in years! 😁
  16. Well, I can still afford it, even while being out of work! That counts. πŸ˜‰
  17. I find Italian sign language the easiest. *Hmm... Maybe he meant signposts?* πŸ€” If so, here's two of my favorites that were in the now-missing thread! 😁
  18. Yep! During the Del Mar Fair in San Diego. Held at the Del Mar horse racing track which, I believe, is on Jimmy Durante Blvd (he used to live in Del Mar, where the "Turf meets the surf!"). I was so far up in the stands that I could only see his nose though... 😁
