  1. As someone who's programmed longer than anyone else I know (over 52 years now), I'm taking a wait and see approach. I still remember having to completely program a scroll bar from scratch back when these new things called monitors first came out! ๐Ÿ˜ฎ Now, all you need to do is drag-and-drop one onto your layout or just click a checkbox to have one... ๐Ÿ™„ That said, I happen to know of several abilities that AI is not able to and never will! These include many abilities humans have but don't even remember they have anymore (the "forgetting" was caused intentionally, but that's a rabbit hole I'm not going down here!). Until then, we'll just have to live with AI which, to be honest, has been far less annoying than RS! ๐Ÿ˜œ
  2. Peter, Paul & Mary - The Marvelous Toy (So much fun! โ˜บ๏ธ)
  3. One of the main projects I'm working on is an app that allows customers to integrate AI into their business processes. I'm not that thrilled about it, but it's a paid gig finally! Oh and, during my testing, I gave it one, short sentence and, twenty seconds later, it created the following website (all I had to do was hit Copy and then paste into a file with an .html extension). This will be used in one of our demos: https://www.nwdreamer.com/MikeP/measurement_converter.html
  4. Friend: "Hey Bob, why are you smiling?" Bob: "Well, my wife wanted a big diamond, so I bought her one but it just sits in the safe. Then she wanted an expensive fur coat, so I bought her one and it only stays in a locked closet; she never wears it! Then she wanted a Jaguar, so I bought her one." Friend: "Um, ok... That didn't sound all that great so, again, why are you smiling now?" Bob: "Well, that Jaguar? It ate her."
  5. Vivaldi - The Four Seasons (Actually one of my favorite Classical pieces!) And the Simon & Garfunkel cover (a.k.a., The Four Seasonings) ๐Ÿ˜
  6. Bob, a 60-year-old and extremely wealthy widower, shows up at the Country Club with a breathtakingly beautiful 25-year-old blond. She proceeds to knock everyone's socks off with her youthful appeal and charm, not to mention killer legs and a figure to die for. She also hangs on Bob's arm and listens intently to his every word. His buddies at the club are all envious. They corner him and ask, "Bob, how'd you get the trophy girlfriend?" Bob replies, "Girlfriend? Sheโ€™s, my wife!" They're knocked over but continue to ask, "So, how'd you persuade her to marry you?" Bob says, "I lied about my age." His friends respond, "What! Did you tell her you were only 50???" Bob smiles and says, "No, I told her I was 90." ๐Ÿ˜
  7. I couldn't find one of my prior posts to confirm the actual grit rating (which I'm 95% sure was 400), but one of the tricks I used for years to help with audio jack connections is to take some of that wetordry sandpaper (see image below), cut it into 2" strips, roll a strip into a tight spiral, and gently work it in and out of the audio jack. This removes any oxidation build-up without hurting the jack. Removes crackles and provides a much better connection!
  8. Spoon Solo? Is that one of Han's kids? ๐Ÿค”
  9. I'll give it a shot once I have the time! I still have finished Obduction though and that one was taxing my old system with the nice (albeit damaged) video card. I'd love to take a break and play a game, I just don't have any free time at the moment! (NOT a bad thing! I'm finally catching up on that back-rent!)
  10. I've always had a love/hate relationship with curry... I love it, but it hates me! ๐Ÿ˜ฌ
  11. Ahh! Back in the year 404 I reckon! ๐Ÿ˜
  12. While that's nice, I don't have ANY video card installed. Just the onboard graphics (which, I must, do handle normal work at 3840 x 2160). The good video card that I had in the previous system got damaged (along with the motherboard and two of the hard drives) thanks to a slowly dying power supply...
  13. I would have loved one of these when I was in high school: ๐Ÿ˜ƒ Instead I ended up with one of these: ๐Ÿ˜• The real irony is this: I had one of those crazy uncles who, in addition to making millions by inventing the glass elevator, was the chief mechanic on an Indy 500 car in 1965 and 1966 (much to my Mom's displeasure, he took me for a couple laps in the car so, literally, I've been behind the wheel of an Indy 500 car!). Anyway, at his mansion in Dulzura California he had a huge 10-car garage to work on race cars and he put a lot of "special" stuff into my Cadillac! Once done, it might have actually been faster than that Camaro! (It did 163 mph in a 1/4 mile drag race once!) Scariest thing to drive though! ๐Ÿ˜†
  14. Are Hope and Joy Siamese twins? ๐Ÿค”
  15. Sounds like by the year 2042 you WILL be spending your life in the 70's and 80's! ๐Ÿ˜œ
  16. Went for it! Now I just have to wonder how long it will be before I can play it! ๐Ÿ˜†
  17. Or for those who have completely lost their mind! ๐Ÿคฃ
