  1. @noynekker the Roland cloud D50 was the instrument I used, not sure the patch though, dare say I probably tweaked something here or there on it, if one has a knob one has to have a play. Thanks for the ears and the comment appreciated.
  2. @whoisp thank you, I never really know what is going to fall out of the furry paws. Thank you for the ears and comments.
  3. Will give this a spin tomorrow now, I have to do a little preparation for a delivery tomorrow. Would you believe they are giving us a brand new cooker because they can not get the clock repaired?
  4. Another with that Aja vibe, sounds OK here.
  5. Thank you, glad it made your ears smile.
  6. Only listened to the OP version and I enjoyed it sound good to these furry ears, they did smile.
  7. Only listen to mix 1 Tad to long for an intro but there is a natural break about 1:32 where you could bring it up a gear and then bring it back to the last part of what is here., mix works quite well here on the Adam's
  8. @DeeringAmps Tom as promised, I used the Avatar Natural kit in Superior Drummer 3 the crash is Crash 2, which is supposed to be a 18" Sabian Hand Hammers Fierce Crash. As always I reversed the Mixer output and reduce its width to around 60 % to 50%. I rarely bother to break out the drums to there own channels in CbB I figure that the mixer in SD 3 does a damn good job, their built in FX, when I use them, seem very efficient it also saves on screen real estate in both track and console views. I then treat the CbB Channel as a Drum Buss, with the N-Type Channel emulation, Boz Digital +10dB Compressor in Parallel mode at about 65% dry, then the Quad Curve EQ to tease the best out of the kit, Then a tiny amount of send to a Global Reverb Buss, just so everything things sits in the same space. This bus has the Quad Curve pre the reverb to clear any mud from hitting the Reverb and finally Cakewalks Tape emulation.
  9. Thank you, little shivers eh? using a passing note that was in the next key whilst still in the previous key, modulating from G Major to D Minor. Glad you enjoyed this @bjornpdx.
  10. @Larry T. glad to hear it brought back happy memories, thanks for the ears and comments.
  11. That was the first furry thought when the vocal kicked in over the funky bass line. Nice stuff mix works well here.
  12. I can honestly say I enjoyed it.
  13. Thanks Tom, if the furry brain is correct it was the original SD 2 New York Avatar kit but the SD 3 version. I will check and confirm.
  14. If a plug-in is fully compliant with the rules of the SDK I would agree but it has been proven that not all plug-ins are fully compliant. By removing the plug-in you establish an initial point to assess where the issue may be. As to it working in an alternate DAW proves nothing other than it has been tested in that DAW and potentially fixed to work in that DAW. It is a shame that CbB is so frequently ignored by developer's when you consider that Cakewalk developer's identified a fault in Steinbergs own SDK for VST3!
  15. Mr G. Krupa was one of the drummers my drum mentor suggested I should study. Interesting retake @David Sprouse
  16. Probably true, re knowing a Jackass, as ever another aural adventure.
  17. Thanks, I put the whole drum sound down to Boz Digital's implementation of David Bendth's +10dB compressor and New York/parallel mode. Again thanks for your continued support.
  18. So do I as I was trying to imply this did not keep my attention, unfortunately.
  19. I like the squelchy Bass but I am with Tom need to trim some of the fat as I found my furry mind wondering off and not really listening.
  20. We all have day, weeks years even when we feel uninspired, But little pieces like this can work as a spark, this has some potential I await your development (or not)
  21. The BBC film prom normally features something from him, I love the proms they are an inspiration.
  22. @markno999 just to say JB = James Bond not John Barry
  23. @user6808463577169165 what happens if you disable or remove that plugin. If removing or disabling cures the problem then the issue is with the plugin not CbB?
