Update: 1. Windows 10 crashed requiring a fresh format & install. 2. All win updates and apps installed. 3. After fixing a few small issues everything is behaving better than ever. Only one small CbB crash (plugin?) and it didn't even fall into Background Processes like it always did before. 4. Only issue with the 2016 laptop is the battery (2nd one) no longer charges completely (holding @20%) and new OEMs aren't available. So far looking like this will be the most stable DAW I've had... but testing is ongoing. If I do go back to Win 11 it will be a fresh Pro install.

FWIW there were several 3rd party skins for D-Pro back in the day, but you can even make your own as the images for both are in a Resources folder.

After a new Windows 10 install on my old laptop, Kontakt refuses to see the existing Library folders or allow a new one. Every attempt to "fix" this ends with "path invalid", making it kompletely useless.

Right now I can't get Kontakt to see any of my libraries since Windows was reinstalled and Native Access says any folder I point them to is invalid. So it's now defunct.

Not to a specific Marker but you can select Markers as a Snap To landmark in the Snap Module.

My issue with Arturia was solved by a fresh install of Windows... not what you want to hear, but they worked one day and not the next, so Windows (or me) did something to cause it. Several issues were cropping up over time so it was needed. A week getting it all back up and running and now everything DAW and otherwise seems to work a lot better.

My system crashed requiring a total reinstall of Windows 10. After getting everything back up & running, the Arturia plugins works as designed. Besides Arturia issue there's been a host of other issues plaguing it for some time. Probably good to revamp the system every 5 years or so.

One reason to install the earliest programs AND updates 1st is because everything in the Shared folders is used by all versions. Among other things this includes ProChannel modules like QuadCurve. If I run a Sonar X3 update after installing CbB I will get a warning in CbB that QC is an older version and may not work correctly. I will get the warning even after reinstalling CbB, which seems odd, so I was able to retrieve the newer QC from a backup file. Otherwise I would need to uninstall CbB completely then reinstall. I guess this means older Sonar versions are using the newer QC. Wonder what else they're sharing.

I think you're right, so wondering why my product page only lists X1c. Any rate I had to reset my Chrome settings to download X1d after a fresh Windows 10 install. They sure made that a lot easier to do. Otherwise you have to remove the "s" from https to get links to work. Not wise. Not sure if my product page downloads include the patches so I downloaded all I could find from the Knowledge Base entries.

What was the latest patch for X1? My store includes X1c patch but there's a Sonar X1d Update page and I've seen reference to X1e somewhere. If d & e exist, where can I get them? Resource Monitor revealed Dell.TechHub.Instrumentation.SubAgent.exe was to blame. Removed and all is fine. Thanks for all the suggestions.

Nothing stood out when I checked last but am keeping an eye on it. Airplane is always on when not online.

Fixed by moving folders where they belong. Programs = C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Programs Multisamples = C:\Program Files\Cakewalk\Dimension Pro\Multisamples Dimension Browser list can be refreshed by hitting F5 if folders are moved manually.

For some reason some of my downloaded Expansion Pack installers are mixing things up. Some don't show up in the Dimension Browser while others do but also list the sample in a separate folder. <this because the sfz folder is inside the Program folder or installed next to it. Normally they are put in separate locations. I've used these installers many times before but never encountered this. Trying to sort it out.
