  1. My thumbs down wasn't because it's a bad idea. Just not something I would endorse after years of investment (since X1) in making themes for the present offering.
  2. But we all do, don't we? I do.
  3. Yes. All the time. But there are moments when a quick reclick is faster since the mouse is already in hand. Not a show stopper, tho.
  4. ...which was a feature request not too many moons ago, btw.
  5. Click tab to open a multidock window. Click same tab to return to Track View.
  6. winkpain's way does not work for me. Glenn's way does work. Still would be nice to know where the default images are stored.
  7. Would be nice if they could be added to the T.E. or "Colors" in Preferences.

    EVENTS LIST VIEW

Honestly I just don't understand why there's so many issues like this. For one, the Theme Editor in Dark Mode is almost unusable because I can't read the gray text on the gray background. Edit something and the text is now readable. Perhaps using different text colors would work better.
  9. FWIW, both options are not checked on my system.
  10. No ideas. Mine checks out OK at higher zoom levels. One thing I don't like is the Control Bar resizing it's modules when screen zoom is changed.
  11. When making a quick check of open tabs it would be more intuitive to have reverse action.
  12. FWIW, Here's what I get with Mercury: 1. Take Lanes = OFF - w/NO clips & NO Take Lanes 2. Pressed 3. Hover 4. Take Lanes = ON - w/clips 4. Take Lanes = ON - w/NO clips 5. Take Lanes = OFF - w/No clips Archived 6. Take Lanes = OFF - w/clips & Take Lanes 6. Take Lanes = OFF - w/NO clips & Take Lanes 6. Take Lanes = OFF - w/clips & NO Take Lanes 6. Track Frozen (take lanes won't open) 6. Track Archived (take lanes won't open)
  13. Possible that track numbers missed the TTSRES list and appear to be Windows fonts.?
  14. ... that was my 2nd guess. Still odd since each text line is assigned a font in TTSRES.dll.
  15. lol. It was a pun referring to the italicized track numbers in your screens shots. Unless you photoshopped them, the only way I know to do that is edit the String line buried in the TTSRES file.
  16. In Sonar X1, the Inspector sliders were originally editable graphic knobs. Someone changed them, probably to save vertical space, leaving Mix control as it was. Same with Key & Time, with only Time remaining "graphical". Baffling. I'm always anxious to see what'll be changed next.
  17. It seems you've also been dabbling a bit into "string" theory.
  18. On 6/25/2021 at 4:23 AM, Matthew White said: Here's one that's listed as 'Not yet identified' in YLIP, Page 48- Track view / Track View Menu Bar Background. As far as I can tell, it just affects the corners at the top of the track pane. On 6/25/2021 at 8:05 AM, Colin Nicholls said: Wow. Incredibly good catch. THREE INTERNET POINTS to Matthew. I'll update the YLIP with this crucial information. ? On 6/30/2021 at 7:25 PM, sjoens said: Useful in squaring up those worn corners.
  19. Some nice ideas here. My theme has been a very slow 6 month work in progress & will be completed probably never.
  20. I would only use them for pedal steel tracks but the learning curve is too steep ATM for my needs. I've always used 2 or 3 MIDI tracks to accomplish the task of varying bend routines.
  21. Care to divulge further? (if you weren't sleeping in class you'd know he already did.)
