My default sound is the onboard soundcard. Cakewalk only uses my ASIO interface. If my web browser is open and using the soundcard, Cakewalk will NOT open. The splash screen appears then disappears.

1. Turn off SNAP, zoom in to the area you want to put it, drag it to that location with AIM ASSIST. 2. Use Paste Special (Ctrl+Alt+V) and enter the exact location at the top. HTH

In my experience... "D" will open views in the last known position (partial or full window for MD). Shift+D will open it in the alternate position (whichever one the other one isn't). ?

Never knew what these were either. And back to the OP's question, If one has to intentionally set them, how do they show up unannounced?

Curious, so I checked this out and did not experience the OP's issue either way I selected the clips. But I've come to know each user has their own special set of weirdness with Sonar/CbB as no 2 systems are alike. Are you using Comp or other that SoS recording? That could be a factor as I only use SoS or D&D (drag & drop) to create clips.

Waiting for reply from AS but in the mean time KVR lists an interesting bug fix in Nov 2019: "Fixed a bug that note would not stop sometimes." And how about customizable pickups?

I tried that when Win10 first came out and it didn't work for me. May try it again tho.

I'm using the standalone. Just installed one off the website and have the same issue with it. Not sure what I can do differently to change this so I'll ask AS about it. Found the keyboard options. THX treesha.

I have the free ones and the LP Trial. Is it just me or do they have a bug? When playing several keys, some notes get stuck and sustain making the instrument useless. Also not liking the new GUI all black keys. Can't see them.

Love it, but for $1100?? ? I use a 29" flat widescreen ($200) beside a 17" laptop. The lack of height control on most widescreens is the only con I've seen.

You can use Copy Special/Paste Special and deselect Markers & whatever else you don't want in the copy.

MIDI channel only matters if they are the same instrument on both tracks. Normally, only the focused track should be triggered by your controller. Maybe other tracks have Input Echo on.

Check your track's inputs. You can also Mute the unwanted tracks.

Simple. Draw (click with the Smart tool) a "0" controller in the Controller Pane where you want the effect to stop. For Pitch Bend it will be at the vertical center line (64).

It actually hangs in memory quite often here. I just confirmed that my MOTU micro lite MIDI interface is almost always the culprit. As soon as I unplug it from the computer, CbB is released from memory. (year old thread. If SEARCH would reveal a newer topic I'd use that.)
