  1. ... in the Message Formatting header. Including BLACK.
  2. That's one thing that needs fixin'. You can change them in the Inspector by deselecting the default "Use Track Colors". BUT.... It's a pain changing them back everytime you bounce 'em.
  3. @Colin Nicholls For some reason the HUD Menu button only turns blue for the Draw Tool, not for the Smart Tool. This is probably by mistake since the main CB button turns blue for both.
  4. Some notes: pg.17, 2. Control Bar: Control Bar / Collapsed Vertical Background: There is no reference in YLIP for each modules' "Icon", which is editable. Control Bar / Collapsed Vertical Background Left Grip: Control Bar collapsed & not locked. Control Bar / Collapsed Vertical Background Left: Control Bar collapsed & locked. pg. 19, 2.2. Tools module: Track view / Focused Track Text: Resolution button text when Smart Tool & Draw Tool are active. You can add here or on pg, 15: Global / Alternative Text #2: Resolution button text when Smart Tool & Draw Tool are NOT active. Control Bar / Menu Button: State 1 = Smart Tool & Draw Tool are NOT active. State 4 = Smart Tool & Draw Tool are active. (HUD = as described on pg. 20 & when Draw Tool is active ) State 5 = no project loaded. ( all "disabled" button states are used when no project is loaded) HUD text color not changeable?
  5. "C:\ProgramData\Cakewalk\Command Center\Cache\images" They are "Rapture" icons. I'm missing the CA2A image for some reason.
  6. It seems Cakewak runs BEST on a system running only Cakewalk.
  7. I just launched CbB right after booting up and it never opened. Turns out it went directly to Background Processes, it's favorite hiding spot these days. For me it's almost always an audio or USB conflict.
  8. My Multidock is at Top. It can be sketchy at times but you can drag Inspector & Browser out into their own window, then to redock, you can hold them where you want them to go (the area turns blue), either under/over, or beside Multidock. Once you have it, save a screenset # and you can always call it up when things go wacky. You can search Multidock in the online or pdf Help.
  9. Depends how your screenset is arranged. I dock Inspector & Browser under the Multidock so they only appear with Track View. That way Console, PRV & other views get full screen width. I & B keys won't work If you dock Inspector & Browser aside the Multidock, they will always be available whatever view you have open. I & B keys work.
  10. NICE! (where'd ya get 'em?)
  11. Speak of the devi.....
  12. If only the "Don't Crash=1" line worked. ?
  13. Not a big deal but... the small Transport Module would look much better if the display data was centered better in their respective areas.
  14. Still a mystery why an old web home page would show up where it was clearly never intended to.
  15. Yes. But edit at your own risk. It's a bit complicated (especially if you want several themes) but doable. MC9 has an updated theme with an MC8 style theme option.
  16. Aesthetics & creative outlet-ry. Actually, DP10 & Mixcraft have theme-able GUIs too.
  17. As I would think, but I must have only installed the 64s.
  18. My older LP VST2's: LP-64 EQ c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\Linear EQ\LP64_EQ_64.dll LP-64 Multiband c:\program files\cakewalk\vstplugins\Linear Compressor\LP64_Multiband_64.dll My newer LP's are VST3's only: LP EQ c:\program files\common files\vst3\LPEQ_64.vst3 LP MB c:\program files\common files\vst3\LPMB_64.vst3 If you think the older ones look outdated, all the GUI files are in the Resources folder, something Cakewalk did for several plugins back in the day. Redecorate to your heart's desire. EDIT: They're not so generous with the newer offerings.
  19. Like Starship both these methods give me the default image. I can only get a custom image doing it Glenn's way.
  20. Cool For the Empty Project, 4 & 16 Track images there seems to be no "trigger" word. If you open one and save it with the same name, CbB removes the image from the file. For these 3 files the image seems to be embedded in the file itself whereas the others appear to retrieve their image from a location within CbB.
  21. Playing the keyboard controller. Where else would it be?! Maybe don't ans...
  22. Funny. I don't use the start screen or templates.... so why am I here??!?!!? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
  23. As Daniel mentioned in the video, there are more "trigger" words to discover. From Daniel's list (Kurre), John Vere, & me: IMAGE = WORD 4 track = (image triggered in default file only?) 16 track = (image triggered in default file only?) Acoustic Guitar = acoustic, song Amplifiers = amp, metal Boombox = hiphop, rap Drum kit = drum Gold Record = master (unless certain other key word also used) Grand Piano = piano, key Les Paul = blues, guitar, jazz, pop, rock Microphone = singer, vocals (not "sing" or "vocal") Music sheet = (image triggered in default file only?) Speaker = loud, mix ("basic" triggers image in default file only) Strings = orchestra, bass Synthesizer = dance, electro, synth, techno, trance Most variations of above words work. Some, but not all, root words work. If 2 words are used, highest alphabetical word normally, but not always, wins. To override a trigger word, you must add your own image in Notes Browser.
