Rain
I've been working with the same DAW for over a decade and there are lots of stock plugins I've never ever used, so I guess not.

Grem
As many plugins as some of us have, I would think the DAW would crash if we ever attempted to load EVERY plugin we have!! It would trigger some kind of spacial distortion that could rip the fabric of sound as we know it!! Edited January 2 by Grem
Notes_Norton
I'm a dinosaur, I suppose. I've used every hardware synth I own on a few backing tracks for my duo. The nice thing about that, is I can pick the best sound I have for each instrument on the track. I can use the bass on the i3 where I can hear the wood, the Tele rear pickup on my SD90, Dr. Solo on my MT32, the Rhodes on my TX81z, the glass sax on my VL70m, the trem strings on my SD2, steel drum from my SC55, and so on. They all have about 5ms latency, so mixing them together gives me no timing problem. They all work with MIDI, and no matter what changes happen to the computer or OS, they still work (My TX81z is from the 1980s and some of the sounds have never been replicated since). Plus they don't tax the CPU of the computer that I use for recording. Notes ♫
John Templeton
I suspect it would result in a divide by zero error, create a black hole and consume my computer.
