Sounds really good. John Maar Posted June 5, 2023 Share Posted June 5, 2023 I have been wanting a Moog Taurus VI for the longest time. Loved the sound since the first time I saw Geddy use one on stage. It really brings the low end. I snapped this deal up. Cherry Audio did an excellent job with their emulation. I love not having to deal with samples. Zo Posted June 5, 2023 Share Posted June 5, 2023 (edited) Same here i'm literraly obsessed with this synth (moog taurus) ,, notice that the minitaur has square waves , so it's a plus , also possibility to route external signal (mmm that filter) . Looking for comparisaon (i finannly put youtube audio and tried different options (lowdown , softube 72 ect ) i forgot why i skipped it last time : Omnisphere and trillian , minitaur and moog taurus osc there as well as superb presets .... What i like about the cherry is the cpu hit even at 5x os and the quikness to have something usuble ...i then tried my minogue xd module , tried to match , created a superb patche on process , compare and bang boy real osc is real something else , i confess i had the drive at 50 % hehe ... I also stumbled across a review about Wave Alchemy Bass Pedals which is a Kontakt library and that sounded really good too, so I might even pick that up at some stage for another option.
