Acoustica have released so many channel strips it’s becoming hard to distinguish between them. The slight differences in tone of all the vintage equipment sampled is becoming a bit redundant but saying all that, it’s still my favourite tech for realism. Just wish they’d sampled them pushed harder into break up, it’s mentioned for this one but I always find it too subtle

Yeah true, I just remember there seemed to be constant sales across the range of their products, with much bigger discounts. Recently it’s only be one or two plugs with middling discounts. Black Friday is always great at AA so I’m happy to wait

I thought Acustica we past these high prices, they seem to have crept up again. Last year they were hitting the 40-50 euro mark. None of the AA plugins are worth these high prices

2 days left on this bundle, I have SF Pro 12 so not sure if worth. Anyone who's been using pro 13 notice any significant reason to upgrade apart from faster VST scanning? I have RX standard but do prefer the batch processing in Pro 12, only reason I keep it around along with more export options

I got scammed by a seller last year buying SD3 on VI. It’s too easy for scammers to buy software using stolen credit cards and then sell them on. When card declared stolen, new user gets license revoked. Hopefully this will put a minor dent in the process

After the initial hype, how’s this holding up? Mixes translating better? I did like the demo but not an essential purchase yet for me. After being an AA fanboy I sold most of my Acquas as prefer Neb devs and also as a childish revolt against their CEO Giancarlo who I find totally conceited. I may revisit this though

Many thanks. I wasn’t into the demo but actually watching the video above and reading more I think it’s useful for final mix checking. I currently use reference and canopener for headphone mixing but will never finalise a mix like that so it does the job with lower overhead than Sienna for now. I am well into the room checking side of things so I’ll wait till Black Friday deep discounts probably

I like the idea of testing my mixes on the car stereos, etc of Room Pack C. Can I just buy this pack only or do I need to buy Sienna first?

I just don’t get this plugin, I keep demoing because I want to know if I’m missing something as everyone loving it on GS, room translations just sound weird and veiled and not like I’m in a room really. I think I’ll pass

Tried the demo and yeah, it was ok. Nothing revelatory at all, thought there would be some kind of wow factor the way people are talking about it elsewhere. I’ll stick with (non upgraded) sonarworks 😃
