  1. I am not sure if I understand your question correctly. Split that MIDI clip at 5th measure and then delete an empty clip or just dragging left-edge of that MIDI clip to where you want (5th measure) or select measures what you need and then copy and paste to other MIDI track (delete original MIDI track). or... Turn on the Ripple edit at right-top on the track view and then make an area selection with dragging zero to five on the time line ruler and then hit Delete key. (Note: Please don't forget to turn off the Ripple edit if ripple editing is completed.)
  2. Set the slider to 100, not 48. I guess it's the cause. Seems playback routing of Windows sound is ok. My audio interface has channels (like 1-2, 3-4...) for playback settings on Windows sound but seems Focusrite does not have them.
  3. @Dusan Sustarsic Can't compare because it's only cwp file not contain audio file. Re-import the exported audio file to project (just drop that file to empty area of the project track view pane in Cakewalk) and then compare what you hear when playing the project on Cakewalk and when playing re-imported file with no effects. Should be the same. Just to be sure, make sure Windows player volume is full and output routing of Windows sounds it's sending to same channel of same audio interface as Cakewalk sends.
  4. It means sound levels what you hear when playing project on Cakewalk and when playing exported file on Windows player are not the same?
  5. What's version of BandLab Assistant running? Currently latest version is v5.1.2 (You can see it at the bottom with clicking gear icon on BandLab Assistant) If it's not v5.1.2, download latest BandLab Assistant installer directly from https://www.bandlab.com/products/cakewalk and then install it after completely quit BandLab Assistant. Finally, click "Update" at Apps tab on BandLab Assistant to update Cakewalk. FYI: If can't quit BandLab Assistant normally, quit with right clicking BandLab Assistant icon in the Notification Area (Task tray) or kill all instances of BandLab Assistant in the Task manager.
  6. Would that have been... https://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.28.html Seems old "New features URL" will be changed when new update come out and be added newest "New features pages"...
  7. @Cahyo Baskoro Check the downloads folder while Downloading... (0/1) You can open the folder via BandLab Assistant | Gear icon | Clicking three dots at right side of System Folder section and then click "Open folder". If there is no file, have to check firewall or security apps settings etc. If there is a file being downloaded and that size is changing, just wait... (maybe need hitting F5 to see latest file size in Details mode on the view menu)
  8. First, try to install only Cakewalk without checking checkbox of Add-ons. If it works, install Add-ons after installing Cakewalk.
  9. IMO, I don't think that's good idea. You can make a fade on any tracks and buses, so... Make a bus for fading pattern 1 and draw volume automation on it. Make a bus for fading pattern 2 and draw volume automation on it. Route these buses to the Master bus.
  10. Yes, there is no tick box to install Cakewalk. It's a normal. You have to check those tick box only if there is necessary installing some Add-ons.
  11. It appears in both my products page and Native Access now. Seems it took about 30 minutes for me.
  12. The hotfix 2019.11 build 63 has been officially released last week.
  13. Ah, I didn't know that export/import process. Thank you! But it seems have to do one by one per plugin. It would be nice that could export/import at once for all plugin presets what we made.
  14. Thanks @scook I can see some files (those are named some preset names which is used in VST plugins, I guess) under %AppData%\Cakewalk\Shared Presets\ What's this? These are not plugin settings? Maybe... preset name which is saved in plugins GUI header part?
  15. I have a plan that upgrade Windows 7 to 10. So I'd like to clarify the backup of the plugin settings. I know VST plugins presets and settings are saved to their folders for each plugins so it's OK. But I believe Cakewalk also saves plugins parameter settings when saving project. Are those settings contained in project.cwp file? or some other specific folder? I'm assuming that might be %AppData%\Cakewalk\Shared Presets\
  16. The guitar sound depends on Guitar effects (Effect Pedal emulators), Amp simulator and Cabinet simulator etc. as guitar players actually do. and I think it requires certain level skills for setting those simulators to get the sound what you want.
  17. Wow, slap-palm-flick, nice! Seems it can also play psychobilly W-bass line.
  18. In my desktop, not crash but some plugins open on secondary display often display artifacts. So have to reopen it or move it to primary display. However, this might be irrelevant to issues what you are having because my graphics card is really old one.
  19. @yeto First, sorry I've made typo in previous comment (KOSP > KSOP) KSOP is assigned key switches to change articulations. (Probably Key Switch Operation Patch?) VSOP is assigned velocities to change articulations. (Probably Velocity Switch Operation Patch?) These are described in "Standard_Guitar_Manual_EN.pdf". So please read it carefully... Good luck!
  20. Unreal Instruments Standard Guitar is DI (Direct input) sounds. So it needs guitar effects, Amp sim, Cabinet sim, etc to get the distorted guitar sound. TH3 has all of them. You can also search and try other effects and simulators. I think you should select Standard Guitar KOSP patch in sforzando. That's patch is key switch version so it's not so difficult to use, I think. First, you have to learn basic operation (key switches) with checking Standard_Guitar_Manual_EN.pdf. You can also check the behavior with sample midi files (Standard_Guitar_Demo.mid etc). They are in [Standard Guitar_Manual] > [Sample_MIDI_Files] BTW, you might have to learn how to make the distorted guitar sound, I think...
  21. Standard Guitar is sfz soundfont for loading with sforzando, not VST plugin. So it's not necessary of locating under VST scan path and you have to load within sforzando. BTW, have you installed sforzando? Insert sforzando as soft synth in Cakewalk and then drop "Standard Guitar.bank.xml" file to sforzando. (needs this operation once only at the first time to regist Standard Guitar to sforzando) Anyway, download [Standard Guitar_Manual] and then read "Installation guide_EN.pdf" and "Standard_Guitar_Manual_EN.pdf".
  22. @yeto Two guitar sfz soundfonts for sforzando what I recommended above are made by Japanese man so README.txt (Acutually, the file name is "見てね\説明および注意事項.txt") is written in Japanese. But he provide English manual too.
  23. You can start with free sfz soundfonts loading to sforzando to get guitar sounds. UNREAL INSTRUMENTS STANDARD GUITAR and METAL-GTX will be works well with amp simulators. It might have a pretty steep learning curve but there is a worth to do, I think.
