  1. Some good stuff comes with Nebula 4 that makes it worth a look. You get a ton of reverbs as well as a few compressors and eq's. To me, Nebula reverbs and eq's are pretty amazing. There are also a few third party Nebula developers like Timp and Cupwise who offer additional components for around $25-35. Analog in the Box and CD SoundMaster also offer great libraries that are a bit more expensive. Also, Henry Olanga's giant libraries are now free. https://www.timpetherick.co.uk/ http://cupwise.com/?v=0a10a0b3e53b http://www.nebulapresets.com/?page_id=5174 https://cdsoundmaster.com/ https://www.acustica-audio.com/store/t/nebula/libraries/nebulalibrariesforn4
  2. This is all new to me, but it's fascinating where technology is headed. It makes me wonder where we'll be when quantum computers get here.

  5. T-Comp was designed to provide versatile compression without impacting your transients! Preserving transients is one of the reasons so many prefer to use parallel compression. T-Comp allows to dial in how much of the original transient is retained allowing you to preserve the integrity of the original signal without parallel routing! You can get it now only for $7.00 USD! https://audio-assault.com/tcomp.php?mc_cid=532613231a&mc_eid=62a6c2bd58
  6. On my machine Kontakt created it's own folders when I installed it. Here's the path: C>Program Files>Native Instruments>Kontakt Check and see if NI did that for you too. If it did just point a VST scan per Nigel MacKay's direction (above) and it ought to pop up for you.
  7. FWIW I couldn't get to work in either CW or Studio One, so whether they'll admit it or not, it's not a problem that's DAW specific.
  8. I had the same problem with Bias Amp 2. I contacted support they sort of shrugged. I took a refund and may try it again in the future.
  9. That was excellent! Thanks for taking the time and the trouble. Best line: "if you have a bass don't ever sell it. Sell your house, sell you car, sell yourself into *****, but don't sell you bass".
  10. "Couple of kewl deals with Plugin Alliance (sorry if this was already posted)" Whenever I list a deal I always start with the assumption it's already been posted, but I figure a little redundancy is better than folks missing a good opportunity.
  11. I thought the drums and chimes were particularly well done.
  12. I noticed this is Vol. 1. I wonder if there will be others.

  15. Some of it is good. I tried some of the guitar ir's and wasn't particularly impressed. Some of their drums, on the other hand, are pretty good. There are some videos on youtube that offer some demos. Here are a few links: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJXENi3AS4DXUS9IqM7Qcag/videos?view=0&sort=dd&shelf_id=0

  18. The maker is named "Past to Future" and has a ton of stuff in the $10-15 range. The drums, in particular, are usually quite nice and a bargain for the price. https://gumroad.com/pasttofuturesamples
  19. I bagged Nebula 4 during the last sale (I think I paid $88). Then for another $40 I got Henry Olanga's "All you can eat" pack. IMHO, unbelievable value for $130. Nebula compressors are great, but the reverbs, preamps, tape emulations and EQ's are amazing.
  20. Great to have you back! I hope all is well in KY.
