  1. Regardless of the sample rate you settle on, try staying with 24bit.
  2. Is the MAGIX driver still showing up? If so, it needs to be removed.
  3. Yes, that was asked and answered. My post and David's after mine were replies to This shows a Delay plug-in with 2x64bit data paths
  4. IIRC, the MAGIX driver is a rebadged version of ASIO4All. I know Samplitude installs it and probably other MAGIX audio products do too. This can be a problem with installations that have a proper ASIO driver. Removing the MAGIX driver entry from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\ASIO should clear up this problem.
  5. The ticks show both channel count and data path width as documented here
  6. Can't load different samples but there are a lot of automation parameters in AD2 for each of the kit pieces which may be modified and copied as needed.
  7. Check the routing in the Focusrite Mix Control software
  8. Selecting a smaller Font Size in the File menu will reduce the overall display size of the program. FWIW, CbB requires a minimum of 1280x800.
  9. There is at least one, the track receiving the TTS-1 audio. Even if TTS-1 is inserted as an instrument track - that track contains an underlying audio track. If this is the export source, check the audio meter for the track. There may be other places to check depending on the export options used. It might be helpful to supply a link to the project.
  10. FWIW, selection length is displayed in the large Export module.
  11. Bounce prior to export is not necessary. Is all the audio routed through a master bus? It may help to describe exactly what steps are taken to perform the export. Try importing the mp3 into the project. Is the volume still too low?

  13. Nothing official, however; it is unlikely either of those plug-ins will return. While both synths were bundled with SONAR Producer/Platinum; they were not available separately for some time. DimPro was folded into Rapture Pro and Z3ta+ was replaced by Z3ta+ 2. There was some discussion about Rapture Pro immediately after Banlab purchased the IP but there has been no mention of any product other than CbB since that time.
  14. Usually controllers have a way to set the MIDI values sent by pads. Alternately, CbB has provisions for drum maps and a Transpose MFX. Both may be used to create MIDI translation tables.
  15. support@cakewalk.com should be able to restore access to your old Cakewalk account.
  16. Yes, it is set per-plug-in Yes For more info see http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.25.html
  17. If AD2 is the only synth in the project, the fastest way is deselect the MS GS Wavetable synth in preferences. The drum map will automatically change to the only other available synth. Leave the MS GS Wavetable disabled in CbB. Use TTS-1 for GM sounds. Here is the documented way to bulk change output ports using the drum map manager. Adding the drum map after adding the synth should prevent the need to change port assignments.
  18. The ticks below the plug-in label in the FX Rack do not indicate whether a plug-in is 32bit or 64bit. The ticks indicate whether the plug-in is communicating with the host using a 64bit data stream. The fact that a plug-in is a 64bit dll does not provide any information about the bitness of plug-in's internal processing or data stream between plug-in and the host. It just means the plug-in was compiled with 64bit libraries and may be loaded by a 64bit program. A 32bit dll cannot be loaded by 64bit program. For 32bit VST plug-ins to work with a 64bit DAW, the plug-ins are loaded in a special piece of software outside of the DAW (a.k.a. a bridge) which handles the communication between the plug-ins and the DAW. 32bit plug-ins in CbB have (32-bit) appended to their names in the plug-in lists. Depending on the theme they may show up using a different color in plug-in lists. With BitBridge, open a 32bit plug-in UI in a project and it will not have the standard VST header. To see the VST header requires holding the ALT key while opening the UI. When a project is opened in CbB, the DAW uses 64bit plug-ins if they are available. All of this has nothing to do with the ability to discriminate between audio produced by 32bit software compared to 64bit software.
  19. Not all 64bit plug-ins can communicate with the host using a 64bit data stream. When the 64bit DPE is enabled in preferences, plug-ins that use a 64bit data stream show double ticks. See http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=Mixing.27.html#1700050
  20. the file library.db in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Library
  21. Yes, make sure to install install the VST3 plug-in
  22. try renaming %appdata%\Cakewalk\Library\library.db
