    Export to Bandlab

Sure there is see http://www.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=Cakewalk&language=3&help=NewFeatures.61.html Not sure how well it works though. The Publish to BandLab dialog is called from the first option in the menu displayed by clicking the Export button in the large or small Export Module The Control Bar in the OP looks pretty full. If the Export Module is selected for display it may be off screen on either side of the Control Bar. Collapse a few modules, depending on the Control Bar settings there may be scroll handles on the ends of the Control Bar to view off screen modules.

sped up audio indicates a sample rate problem here is a similar thread
  3. For now if you want to stay in CbB try adding gain plug-ins to the Clip FX Rack. My current favorite are the free Blue Cat gain plug-ins included in their Freeware Plug-ins Pack II
  4. There are two sources of latency a user can control Audio driver buffer settings Plug-in delay compensation My guess is the delay in the existing project is plug-in related. This can be tested by bypassing all plug-ins using the FX button in the Mix Module. If the delay goes away, one or more plug-ins in the project need the DAW to delay the signal in order to work. Enabling all plug-ins and turning off the FX Racks and ProChannels one at a time can help isolate the plug-ins. Generally plug-ins such as dynamics processor and IR reverbs either need to look into the future to react to the incoming signal or take time to compute their effect. This is achieved by buffers built into the plug-ins. As a result, the DAW delays the rest of the audio in the project so that everything says in sync. This is called Plug-in Delay Compensation. Most plug-ins requiring large amounts of compensation have some mention of it in their documentation. While reading about the FX button and Mix Module take a look at the PDC button documentation too.
  5. please provide an image of Preferences > File > VST Settings
  6. You are welcome. Pretty nice tools at the right price.
  7. Sure you can use drum maps with SI-Drums. If you are not getting any sound with a drum map, open it up in the drum map editor and check the routing. If you can't figure it out, create a new thread post images of the project and the drum map. If I understand what you want to do is have 4 separate instances of SI-Drums so you can isolate different kit pieces on different audio tracks. There are a couple of ways to do this. Create 4 complete instances of SI-Drums using instrument tracks or audio+MIDI track pairs. Using this method, each synth will have its own MIDI data in either the instrument track or Create 1 MIDI track use a drum map to route the MIDI data to 4 instances of SI-Drums each with their own audio track or Create 1 instrument track using CodeFN42 MIDIChFilter, NoteMapper or Veloscaler as the sent and use the VST2 drop down above the plug-in to "Enable MIDI Out". Enable input echo on the track. Then add 4 instances of SI-Drums using instrument tracks or audio+MIDI pairs. Set the MIDI inputs the SI-Drum tracks to the CodeFN42 plug-in and enable input echo on the tracks. In the 4 SI-Drums plug-ins turn off the volume of the kit pieces as needed. Using this approach all the MIDI is in one track and the drums only play on the tracks as desired similar to using a drum map but instead of using a drum map, it uses an extra track and a plug-in to distribute the MIDI. Killing the volume on different kit pieces achieves the instrument separation.
  8. Unlike X3 and older there are no advanced install options for products installed using Cakewalk Control Center. Instead the products are broken out into multiple installers. Regardless, core applications such as the programs in Shared Utilities always require installing the DAW regardless of the whether the installer has an advanced install option or not. For those products with an advanced install option, there is a drop down menu with a MInimal Installation option above the plug-in pick list to install the smallest functioning DAW possible.
  9. The Render Region FX menu option only renders the Region FX plug-in. This option is in the Region FX menu at the top of the Track View and in the clip context menu.
  10. Sitala comes as a stand alone synth and a plug-in. Use the second download option on the page linked above and put the 64bit plug-in dll in the CbB scan path. I wrote a drum map for the 808 kit bundled with the synth and a multi-out track template. They are on my Google page.
  11. try this shut down CbB rename TTSSEQ.ini in "%appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core" restart CbB
  12. Editing master.ins with a text editor is about as easy as it gets. The real problem with alternate note names is that unlike drum maps they are not persistent.
  13. I find it easier to edit the master.ins and key the data directly into the file. Master.ins is a text file in %appdata%\Cakewalk\Cakewalk Core Make a copy before editing Here is a post with a few more details
  14. given this post I did not bother to check There are quite a few sites that offer "free" software without permission. The best source for free software is the manufacturer.
  15. Please edit the OP and add [Solved] to the subject Thanks
  16. Paid $38 for FabFilter's Pro-Q3 upgrade and have used both tilt types in it.
  17. If it did not come from the Nero site, it is likely cracked. Please refrain from discussing your adventures with stolen software on this forum.
  18. verify all the plug-ins are in the paths setup in VST Scan Paths in preferences below the VST Scan path section make sure the "Rescan Failed Plug-ins" and "Rescan All Plug-ins" options are NOT selected below the VST Scan path section make sure "Scan In Sandbox" and "Generate Scan Log" ARE selected below that click the Reset button Make sure the plug-in layout is set to one of the "Sort by" options When using "Sort by Category" make sure to check the Uncategorized folder. The plug-in layout is selected at the top of the plug-in menus and in the Plug-ins tab in the browser ("B" in the image below) If the plug-ins are still missing. Review the scan log for clues. Provide details about the missing plug-ins (plug-in names and where the dlls are installed) Provide an image of the VST Preference page linked above Provide a link to the scan log
  19. That was very nice of them Thanks for adding the resolution to this thread
  20. When creating directory junctions the name used for the junction cannot already exist on the drive. IOW in the following command mklink /j "C:\Program Files\Cakewalk" D:\Cakewalk will fail if there already is a folder called Cakewalk in "C:\Program Files" because the file system cannot have both a folder and a directory junction with the same name. The process is Move the folder from its current location to the new location Then create the junction using the old folder name pointing the the new folder location.
  21. By default Cakewalk scans plug-ins one time and the scanner runs automatically in the background However there are options and certain plug-ins that cause plug-ins to rescan. The two rescan options in preferences will always scan failed plug-ins or all plug-ins. Normally these should be turned off. IIRC Waves plug-ins always scan due to the way the plug-ins are designed. To avoid this set the scanner to manual scan in preferences and run the scanner from preferences when new plug-ins are added.
  22. AFAIK, the presets are not available separately. I guess this was one of the changes made post-Gibson. The preset database is C:\ProgramData\Overloud\REmatrix Solo\factory-presets.db IRs used by the plug-in are stored in C:\Users\Public\Documents\Overloud\REmatrix Solo The rir files in the IR folder are databases containing the IR wavs. There may be a User file and a folder contain the Factory.rir. support@cakewalk.com may be able to help. If files are corrupted or missing it may take a clean install of CbB to get the plug-in back. edit: updated to reflect changes based on subsequent info from the Overloud site
