  1. Some Dimension Pro instruments, esp. Garritan Pocket Orchestra, aren't 1/2 bad either.
  2. I have 'em. DVD box sets w/o serials were available for $30+/-.
  3. I wonder if it's crashing because of the patch/prog file? If you haven't already, try loading a different one to test.
  4. Another oddity? Johnny's CCC shows Melodyne 2 Essentials which I also had but there's no Melodyne at all in CCC. However, my 1st version 1.0.0.7 is listed on my account page.
  5. This is always fun. Like Johnny, when I run or reinstall CCC it thinks I have no internet connection, even when run as admin, so it needs to be downloaded and installed again. It's available at the top of the old web page under Support > Download Command Center. My old account page shows 2 instances of Rapture 1.22 with different serials & reg numbers. When I click on either one they both point to the newer one and say Rapture 1.22 "No downloads are available for this product". CCC lists the older one which is available. ??? Cakewalk version #s are sometimes misleading. I have Rapture v1.2.2.9 copyright 2010. After installing "Current Version 1.2.2.10" the dlls still report 1.2.2.9 copyright 2010. The installation file is 1.2.2.1. Dimension plays the same game... "Current Version 1.5.5.16" is actually 1.5.5.11. Account page: (some products are no longer available or give an ERROR message) Sonar X1 = Available Sonar X2 = ERROR Sonar X3 = ERROR Sonar Platinum = ERROR CCC: Sonar X1 = not listed Sonar X2 = not listed Sonar X3 = not listed Sonar Platinum = Available Z3TA+ 2 Demo = Available Rapture Pro Demo = Available (install repeats "out of resources" but does install)
  6. I've never heard of this. Mercury and Tungsten are CbB default themes. Why in the world would they ever need updated.
  7. I don't have this issue, but I have SPlat and Sonar X3 installed. 1. Try opening CbB as Admin. before inserting the plugs. I know Dimension and others have required this. 2. Log into BandLab before opening CbB or inserting the plug. 3. Try cleaning the registry and reinstall everything. 4. Contact Cakewalk support. Not necessarily in that order. BTW, just played around with LP MB and it seems a little unstable, doing strange things when moving Bands around.
  8. This would be nice but don't think it possible. However, there is this: https://legacy.cakewalk.com/Documentation?product=CakewalkSonar&language=3&help=NewFeatures.064.html
  9. Yeah, I already updated my 2nd post for that.
  10. Does anyone have a link for these or can they be shared since they are free? Thanks NM. Found one Edit: these may not be "free"
  11. I see. Shift has nothing to do with it. Simply holding Ctrl while dragging does work on both ends of the notes. Thanks. I was confused because holding Ctrl+Shift worked on the left ends but not the right ends, so it was probably just ignoring the Shift key. Shift+Dragging the left end of a group of notes makes all the notes the same duration. Shift+Dragging the right end is ignored. It would be nice if the routines were similar for both Views, so I'm changing the request to reflect that.
  12. Request ability to Shrink/Stretch grouped PRV notes by Ctrl+Shift+Dragging both ends of the notes, like you can with Track View clips. Currently you Shrink/Stretch grouped PRV notes by Ctrl+Dragging either end of the notes. This works but is confusing when working between views. BTW, Shift+Dragging grouped notes makes them all the same length and only works on the left end of the group. EDITED
  13. "That's just my thoughts, hopes, which we are all entitled to." "We" are all entitled to mine as well.
  14. What program would you use to create them? I find not all SVG's are created equal and have no success editng them on one GUI.
  15. Hey thanks for all the great additions. Curious if you can make their GUI elements, including text, available for customization like Dimension does? I can use a res editor but it's more of a hassle.
  16. If I catch the wind in a bag, I have a captive audience. Others will benefit tho...
  17. Easiest way I know: 1. Save project as a new one so old one is preserved. 2. Bounce clips in each track so there's only one clip per track. 3. Extend all tracks/clips to same length as longest track/clip. Do not bounce. 4. Set Now Time Marker to -0-. 5. Click on Transport BPM and change to desired value. You'll see audio clips extend past the end of the MIDI tracks when increasing BPM. 6. Slip-Shrink the Audio clips to line up with the MIDI clips. 7. Bounce the audio clips. Slip-Stretching/Shrinking MIDI clips is virtually harmless. Slip-Stretching/Shrinking Audio clips can range from harmless to disastrous, depending on how vast the BPM change is and how complex the audio is. I just changed an entire mix from 120 to 135 BPM without too much issue - audio was shrunk?... shrinked?... 88.89%, but I wouldn't recommend doing it for a polished master. If tempo change is significant it's probably best to re-record audio parts... or spend a lot of time in Melodyne.
  18. Yes. But not likely anyone will notice or care.
  19. Because that's how previous Sonar apps worked. Sonar X3 behaves as expected with new and old projects. But if I open an older project in CbB, it also behaves as expected. So creating projects in CbB must be affecting the Solo routine somehow?? In any case, CbB will probably be deprecated with a host of unresolved bugs - just like any program would where there isn't enough time to address them all. Incentive to upgrade.
  20. Not sure what intended behavior is, but it seems like when Soloing a track the remaining tracks should look darker or diminished. For some reason MIDI tracks aren't responding to this action. Checked Sonar Platinum and all but one MIDI track dimmed when another track was soloed, so something changed.
  21. I can't reproduce your issue. Snap has never worked 100% for me in Track View or PRV but it normally works as expected. When Global Snap is on and PRV Snap is off, notes can be moved more freely with less 'magnetic pull'. When both Snaps are on, notes are pulled to the set resolution. Are Global and PRV Snap set to the same resolution?
