  1. Dear Sirs I am experiencing problems opening and closing BAndlab - I have to use my taskmanager to close 2 instances of it - ever since I clicked on Mercury or Tungsten Themes in my preferences and I’m receiving message to update TungstenTheme.fth with the Theme Editor of which I have installed but I do not know how to figure out how to use. There’s a highlighted default link in the message that I click that takes me to recent theme changes which I cant figure out how to work as well – Only when I answer NO does Bandlab allow me to open itself. Please help and give me detailed instructions as of what to do Bob Grieco
  2. UPDATE still need help - I had problems w playback glitching as well as the preset importing My 1st Dell XPS 8950 that I bought 6 weeks ago wasn't playing audio smoothly and glitching unbearably along w a crapload of latency and after 6weeks of troubleshooting w dell support , they finally sent me a new one. I reloaded my X2 version , my cakewalk by bandlab version and Platinum version of programs and the playback is now great without any latency issues but now I'm having problems importing my personal sonitus presets with the plugin manager. They are the identical .spp files from the same flash folder I imported them from on the 1st Dell xps8950 but they wont import to the newer install. When I press the import button , the manager takes me back to the same folder to try again. Did I install incorrectly (only installing the 64bit version not the 32bit also) or am I doing something incorrectly - procedure wise with the manager?? Any suggestions or detailed steps are appreciated. Bob G

  4. Friends, Can anyone help me to lower the CPU strain - playback has glitches New install on New Computer - CbB performance meter says running 8Gb of 16Gb w out even picking a project to work on. My computer start up is only running 3 or 4 essential processes - I seem to remember reading ASIO buffer settings affect performance Please advise correct settings in general - running Windows 11 on a Dell 8950 i7 12th gen w 16 Gb Ram Bob G
  5. Freinds, They are located in my old computers Program Files/Cakewalk/Shared Plugins folder but not the new Program Files/Cakewalk/Shared Plugins folder since the install of Platinum and CbB . Can I copy the old Analyst.chm and AmpSim dll to the new folder from the old computer via a flash drive and it will appear /function? If not , can someone solve this problem? Bob G user since Sonar 7.5 maybe thats where theses two missing plugs came from and didn't transfer ???
  6. Thanks - I'm going to install both tomorrow morning - Ill post what the outcome will turn out to be.
  7. Friends, I have my original install disks of EZ Drummer and Superior Drummer 2.0 and have an email that says to install EZ 1st then Superior . it's been at least 10 years on my old computer but remembered to save the 23GB multi Sample library I accumulated to a separate drive that I transferred to my new computers D drive. What's the process involved to install only the EZ drummer program and the Superior Drummer program without the Multi Sample library - do they give you a choice during install to not install the sample library or do I skip that step after the initial install and somehow point the program to the Toontrack sample folder on my D drive ? It's been many years since I installed Sonar 7 thru Platinum upgrades - I hope description of the post is understandable. Bob G
  8. Thanks Loads!! Worked like a charm. Picture really helps. Bob
  9. On my older computer where the presets I want to export are, I am only seeing the general Sonitus 2 banks with the OME presets in them. I cant seem to export my homemade presets that are vital to the many individual projects I created over the years. See attached screenshot of my EQ presets. - Where can I find those presets to export to a flash drive so that I can import to the new computer? Did I not save them correctly in the 1st place? I thought I just had to press the save button and they would automatically be saved in the same folder as the OEM Sonar presets. They do not appear as text in any of the ProgramData/Cakewalk/ Shared Presets folder.
