  1. If it's a big download, you can just unzip it.
  2. A really interesting song, the title works great! Nice little twist there. I found myself focusing mix wise on the bass - I thought it was great when the bass had sustains going, but the every so often the bass note clips the sustain off (does that make sense?) and I think that breaks the groove a little bit. For me the groove is pretty strong with your song and everything else keeps the toes tappin' ! cheers, -Tom
  3. Really like the mix, the vocals, and the fact that the video is a multi-cultural time-shifting smoothie! cheers, -Tom
  4. Cool groove for sure, and the swampyness is cool! You are either fighting a little 60hz cycle buzz or using it as an effect, I can't tell? The drums could stand out a bit more in the mix, they are pretty far back there . . . you might make them a little louder when the vocals aren't present . . . nice one! cheers, -Tom
  5. Mixes are like elbows. Stuff sticks out sometimes, other times it's tucked in. Cool tune, kinda noir-ish in a way. I'd say the guitar is fine - just lower the bass and the piano! When you get that crushed compression on the vocals, in spots it's a bit too cooked for my taste, but usually it works great - that's a great vocal performance by the way. c heers, -Tom
  6. I don't know what I appreciated most - your "tools used" breakdown, the choice of this excellent song, your awesomely faithful-to-the-original mix, the freshness of your update . . .or the fact that it was 1982 for a brief moment in my studio . . . awesome on all of it! cheers, -Tom p.s. let me know when you get around to "Airhead" or "Budapest by Blimp" . . .
