  2. not much chatter about the cakewalk itself in these here forums 😐
  3. here's an intersting comment thread (bottom of page) on the recent remastered reissue of mark hollis's sole solo lp https://www.discogs.com/Mark-Hollis-Mark-Hollis/release/14282355 i'm like wibbles, though, i tend to listen to most music as mp3s through headphones, but love an excuse to crack out the vinyl even though it's more of a special event these days...

  9. firefox pw manager doesn't share anything, of course, but will save any (web) login you tell it to, also can be protected with master pw, and two-step ok to show actual pws... and fwiw, firefox is one of the few modern/current pieces of software i trust is not just a "surveillance capitalism" data-accumulation tool

  13. VST2 go into C:\VST32 or C:\VST64 (sub-)folders (avoiding UAC, etc on the Program Files hive) VST3 into C:\Program Files\Common Files\VST3 folder (that's a system-wdie setting, so don;t change it) Worth remembering that even if a VST2 installer doesn't let you choose a custom location durnig installation, after install is finished you can usually (i repeat, usually) just copy the DLLs to your prefered location /fwiw
  14. i wanted to share a compilation called "a japanese chhristmas mix" (japanese versions of xmas standards) but cannot find it
