  1. Am I the only one finding it odd UVI products on sale at NI? Is Spitfire next? Sampletank?
  2. I do that with my Sweetwater card. Some items have 3 year interest free financing. I have Cubase and Studio One for $6 a month. I think about upgrading to the CE edition but you have to evaluate that upgrade price vs, are you really getting that much amount in new stuff. SSD prices have went up a bit. That also has to be considered as well. That is where a sample library sub has its advantages. If you want some sounds for short term, you download, then delete it.
  3. Maybe you have to throw some famous names of those who use NI libraries.
  4. Yep....Linux....lost.... in the consumer market.
  5. Whoever thought this statement would exist 20 years ago.
  6. This use to be Loop Loft. BTW there are Battery kits. Many of us use to be Loop Loft junkies.
  7. The sub pandemic is alive and well. Most developers offer subs these days but give you the other option of a license. It's rational some user for sound libraries. I couldn't see it for plugins. Rent to own worked for Splice.
  8. I love Waves for their **** business model. I no longer hoard plugins like I use to. $29 for any plugin by any developer doesn't do it for me anymore. It's still hard to beat those Waves timeless classics. Licensing is the #1 issue for me.
  9. I could see them doing it for their libraries like for Maschine users. I doubt anyone is going to pull a Waves.
  10. They fall short of being Waves unless they introduce WUP.
  11. Hey someone used the food comparison correctly. Someone will compare a plugin price to justify it by comparing food. I can get a nice tasting bottle of Caberlet or Merlot for $5 (not a liquor snob at all) and it better for me. Food and fuel prices have easily doubled in America and I'm sure that is affecting the DAW industry relying on hobbyists. I has curbed by GAS spending (not enough) because I had to buy gas.
  12. You can stand in line with all of the other plugin brokers hoping people never see deals in other forums. Of course the end user can be tricked into it's only $10 a plugin.
  13. The only benefit for a Linux is user. is.......... (crickets chirping) Let's see........a larger doorstop collection of once used audio interfaces that exceeds Apple Feeling superior for taking a longer approach using something inferior.
  14. Meanwhile in the real world.........I must not know what a good customer experience is. If I go into any store and there is no price I don't bother. It seems prices listed is the norm. If definitely removes the impulse buy. That is the only flaw I see here. The rest is great.
  15. Make an individual do some extra clicks for the price. One spends less time and ventures elsewhere
  16. This one finally didn't like up to the usual Asshat F'update. It succeeded on 3 systems. I didn't have to delete Asshat and download it from the site.
  17. Templates are broken since these use older versions of synths.
  18. Odd that I got it when there were over 250 copies left. I'm not a fan of the limited number free or discounts slots. It becomes a battle of network connections. Why not just offer it for the price of paying the Kontakt license instead.
  19. Check your NI account. Mine still says $99 instead of $79
  20. NI libraries are getting bloated. I think one could do better with various 3rd party developers. Upgrade - upgrade from what?
  21. Actually not named that but it's one of those games you need to wear those goggles
  22. I got the Everything bundle in 2020 but the Alpha doesn't show up for me.
