  1. That’s a good question. I’d written this off due to the tuning concerns I’d heard mentioned (I had already grabbed it with the ridiculous sale price). If it’s just the Ethnic pack there is is a heck of a lot of good stuff otherwise! I’d thought maybe it was a general issue. Got me thinking about it again.
  2. I did end up getting Dopamine at JRR. I’ve tried it on one song I’m presently mixing. It made a clearly positive impact. Satisfied on this purchase!
  3. Good idea! Logged in and see that perhaps because I have one GEM effect, Dopamine is $74.00, a slight discount off the stated sale price. Still too high.
  4. It generally goes against the grain these days to think of getting a plugin for more than $29 - especially when it’s on sale. That said, the GEM plugin called Dopamine (which is around $85 with this sale) is intriguing. Props to Overloud for making it. Not sure I could afford it even at this “sale” price. I like it though.
  5. You can easily grab the drums MIDI. Program 24 does sound very nice in actual use. I don’t think MIDI can be extracted natively from it for the non drums. Correct me if I’m wrong. Haven’t seen that available. But I have saved the audio out of a soloed track, changed that to MIDI via Melodyne, and then used that MIDI with another VST sound - just to see how that would work. And it did.
  6. Thinking quickly about this one as well. Looks to have a lot of good sounds and friendly features within a compact intro price.
  7. Yes - routinely use this one. It’s new. This is a surprise at this price.
  8. I mean if you have a bunch of Waves stuff if you WUP everything you have at one time it's one price which has been $240. If some of the items have their own WUP timing, then they are not included in the WUP everything. It's not that I'm thinking it would get added. I would buy this particular Abbey Road item at that time.
  9. I’m thinking I may add it when I re-WUP everything. Then it is just one price to re-WUP the whole schmeer.
  10. I did not get an email after the order. But in my Tone Empire account the Downloads page had it ready immediately, and the ser num is listed right away on the orders page. Update: actually, quite a few hours later I did receive an email with the links and the code. Instantly at the time of the buy, however, the info was available within the account. So either way.
  11. I would say if you have seen Scaler 2 and what it can do it would be pretty compelling. So a hearty yes!
  12. Looks like something highly desirable to have!
  13. No one mentioned the Plug-in Alliance Bx Delay 2500 (today at $29) ?
  14. The Soothe 2 sale is on now - just for a couple days.
  15. I’ve had Captain Chords since 1.0. Frequent updates, always getting better. Sounds musical, as in music I would like to hear. Easy to use. Easy to work with in the DAW. Never been requested since the beginning to ever pay for an update. A long list of very helpful and clear support YouTubes. Examples of using it with creating real songs. Oh, I also have Orb and the others. Can’t say the same about them.
  16. It’s a good deal and quite powerful. Lots of creativity possible from it. The supporting material, like YouTube explanations, are pretty haphazard. It’s intuitive enough to get how it works by clicking around. As mentioned, there are alternatives that equal or have similar capabilities to what it offers. If you look at those you might evaluate which one suits your preference.
  17. Some very positive and illustrative reviews of the Tonespot series in here (and also MixChecker) https://m.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLUgBsRWKssve3NNSIMeRVGk7mBzlC3Vxk
  18. Done! Did just as you spelled it out Larry. Thanks!
