  1. Bluffmunkey Cinematic Sounds Available for KV331's Synthmaster One. Free for (1) owners of Synthmaster Everything Bundle and (2) owners of SynthMaster One Expansions Bundle. Available for purchase for others. Steps I used that worked for me: Start SynthMaster One. [I used the standalone version on one PC and the plug-in within CbB on another PC.] Click on the BROWSE button [if not already in Browser mode]. On the left side of the UI near the top, select KV331 Audio Store. On the right side of the UI, Right Click in the KV331 Audio Products List. Select Refresh My Licenses and/or Restore My Expansions [might take a while to Restore if you need to do that] Note: On one PC I only had to refresh my licenses; on the other I needed to do both. Needed to wait for purchased expansions to download! Evidently I hadn't done this in a while so I also downloaded and installed the latest version.
  2. I am exploring this problem for myself ATM. With Syntronik 2 SE, I had 104 Generation 1 V-80 Presets and 12 Generation 2 V-80 Presets. I thought I added the "freebie" correctly, but that only added 3 additional Generation 2 V-80 Presets. I looked in a file I unzipped and installed and sure enough, it only contained 3 new ones (for a total of 15, not 38). I have some theories on what might have happened if it is user error (mine). I might not have downloaded, unzipped, and installed everything. Testing now . . . Updated post anticipated . . . BTW, under My Products > Download Resources, the link for SYN2_V-80_SL_Update.zip and SYN2_V-80_SL_Update.dmg are switched. I think I just ran that updater (the unzipped zip file installer). So that might explain why I have 12 + 3 Generation 2 V-80 presets. Maybe! BINGO!!!!! I now have 38. TY abacab!!!!! Not sure if this will help others, but evidently the update file just added 3 Generation 2 presets. With the IKM Product Manager I saw that although I had downloaded the V-80 freebie, I did not Installed it. (The button was grey.) So, I told it to update and now I have the 38 Generation 2 V-80 presets! 🙂
  3. Thanks for confirming this. If you want to have some fun trying to understand what's going on, take a Generation 2 preset and compare editing it in the Generation 1 editor (the one that simulates a hardware instrument panel) and the Generation 2 editor (what IKM calls the "Edit Panel"). The EDIT button at the bottom of the UI toggles between the two.
  4. Its a long story.** I might have miscounted 104 and its really 102. I like the new Edit Panel and the fact that we have 4 "oscillators" per Generation 2 preset. **For a small part of the story, see this. BTW, I did get past the 500-level errors and all the APD please wait type circles.
  5. TY!!!! SE only has 12 Generation 2 [i.e., fully editable] presets. I will get it if I can get past the 500-level errors. I counted 104 Generation 1 presets. And yes, counting them is silly, but IKM doesn't have a list, just the version comparison numbers.
  6. Thanks for the explanation. That is consistent with what I found over the past couple of weeks. How many Generation 2 presets are there with just with the V-80 Instrument selected? That should tell me if there are more than what I have in Syntronik 2 SE.
  7. If anyone tried these in either Syntronik 2 CS or SE, I would be very interested to know if these are "Generation 2" presets (fully editable in Syntronik 2, including by use of the Edit Panel that opens with the EDIT button at the bottom of the UI). I already have multiple licenses of the Generation 1 presets which cannot be edited with the Syntronik 2 Edit Panel. Thanks.
  8. To me, the free insider stories are a deal. And they break up the monotony of so-called deal after so-called deal. But I can understand if someone disagrees. I'd hate to see this thread have to be closed because it escalates. So, in the interest of peace in the thread, perhaps you might want to use the ignore button for Reid's posts. Offered as a friendly suggestion.
  9. ektoplazm netlabel on bandcamp > Organic Circuitry https://ektoplazm.bandcamp.com/album/organic-circuitry
  10. Now that you mention it, I have done something similar. Over the past decade or so, I have listened to and/or purchased from electronic and ambient artists who offer their albums and entire collections through bandcamp. I generally heard the music on any of a number internet stations I have grown to trust. Also, in some cases I knew the artists from live streamed performances, from personal contact at events I participated in, etc. I am on the mailing lists for a couple so I find out about new releases. I can't remember how many decades ago I gave a rat's tail about music pimped out by "the industry."
  11. I had REmatrix Player open (standalone) and then had a pop-up saying it has been updated (1.2.10) since I installed it.
  12. I followed the instructions on the website (which stony posted) and it was a breeze!! The only thing extra I had to do was a vst scan. That's between step 3 and 4. To clarify: In my case, the authorizer self-populated the code. I assume it did so because I had logged in to my Overloud account at some point.
  13. WOW! I never knew this. I always thought it used MIDI gear. Gonna boot Cakewalk and some gear to test. I hope "they" didn't remove that. UPDATE: PHEW!!!!! You had me worried there, John . Please don't do that. We can still use external gear for the MIDI Metronome.
  14. removed (the info is at the link above)
  15. Withdrawn. The message I used to get in SONAR was the one for MIDI Sync.
  16. Some people don't like to use the word "MASTER."
  17. Removed because it sounded like I was being judgmental.
  18. Did you try sending CCs as listed in the Reference Guide? If they work, you could try creating an *.ins file. I did that with a couple of Roland "Intelligent Arranger" sound modules [CA-30 & RA-30]. It worked. Your Korg has much more to switch, but it looks like the process of using a bank switch + a program change should do it. It might also have sysex options, but I didn't find a sysex manual. Did you try any tests by inserting bank switches + program changes using the event list as suggested above? I seem to remember that's what I did before creating an *.ins file. That was a long time ago, but I probably started with the midi commands on the control track pointed to my gear at the rate of one style change per measure and watched the front panel to see if the changes happened.
  19. Someone mentioned the series of giveaways and I watched the first one, then forgot about it. So thanks for the reminder!
  20. Just a guess: perhaps Output 1 + is really a stereo pair of audio outputs as in Output 1 + Output 2 and the OP is not using a Master Bus?
  21. Thanks for the info. I was (and still am) logged in. But I see MODO DRUM CS in my user area. So, maybe I clicked on that thinking that like Syntronik 2 CS it would add something; not sure. If so, maybe having the CS version wiped out my $79 offer. Not a big deal for me, though. I have plenty of other drums. Hope IKM can get their act together for the sake of others.
  22. This is consistent with my experience. I was offered the $79 upgrade. My GB25 entry was MODO Drum. PS: My version of TS2 MAX (purchased October 2020) had MODO BASS, not MODO DRUM. Never mind. I just checked the store. It is now $199 for me to get MODO DRUM 1.5. Its $149 to get MODO DRUM SE. MODO DRUM CS is free, but since I already have MODO DRUM 1, I am passing. I also have the ability to download the Studio Kit separately for free. Perhaps the $79 offer was only good for a very limited time--perhaps the time it took for IKM to get the individual kits available for separate purchase. I saw the $79 offer before the individual kits were listed.
  23. Heads up re: Syntronik 2 SE. According to the ad and other places on the IKM website (including the versions comparison table) the SE version has approx. 1000 presets: However, in my experience (1) the presets included are for the Syntronik 1 Instruments (some regular, some deluxe) and (2) the 1000 presets are split between Syntronik 1 Generation (not editable in the Syntronik 2 Edit Panel) and Syntronik 2 Generation (editable in the Syntronik 2 Edit Panel). For example, the comparison for Blau is listed on the comparison table as having 100 presets, but based on my experiences 67 are generation 1 (not in the Syntronik 2 Edit Panel) and 31 are generation 2 (editable). Yes, I know that's only 98, not 100.** Several days ago I wrote Customer Support for a list of all the presets it is supposed to have to try to verify that my observations are based on what the product offers, and not user error. If I hear from them, I will update this "Heads up." For the sale price,*** it might be worth it to some IKM users to have some editable Syntronik 1 presets in addition to the Syntronik 2 CS presets. Note: So far I only looked at several of the instruments. **More Info: The IKM Comparison table says Syntronik 2 SE should have 100 presets for Modulum (a Syntronik 1 Deluxe Instrument). I counted 84 Generation 1 presets (not editable in Syntronic 2 SE's Edit Panel) and 35 Generation 2 presets (editable). Yes, I know that adds up to 119, not 100. ***2022-03-04: At the time of the original post, the sale price was $39.99 (with up to $12 off with jam points). Not sure what the current sale price is.
  24. I went to My Products (logged in, of course), then Dimension Pro 1.5. It was under Downloads. Didn't need to use Command Center. PS: While I was looking, I downloaded the latest/last version (1.5.5.13). Then I checked what I had on my current PC (1.5.0.11, which seems to work fine). @scook Any thoughts on whether or not I should install 1.5.5.13?
