  1. You can see there it's crashing in the Waves 11 shell. Looks like you're missing the plugin suites too though, so just in general you probably want to install Platinum with everything, then reinstall CbB. That won't impact a crash in the Waves shell, though. You can send us the dump file, but you'll probably want to contact Waves as well.
  2. You can do a custom keybinding to Start/Stop Rewind or Fast Forward in the Preferences.
  3. if you go to File | New (as opposed to the start screen) do you see the templates shown? Do the demo projects display correctly?
  4. That's why we have both track and project templates. Track templates are probably the handiest way to take portions of a mix out of one project and just quickly add them to your existing other project files.
  5. @Takahiro Seki We've reported a few issues to Waves about crashes with V12, but if you would like us to check your dump file, please attach it to the post or send us a PM with the actual dump file or a link to it. You can find it in the path specified in the dialog you posted. Unfortunately we can't really do much with a screenshot of the prompt. Thanks!
  6. As mentioned, there seems to be an issue with this link, can you try sending a new one?
  7. We always recommend being on the latest versions, they include more fixes! In the very unlikely case of any new issues being introduced, there's always a rollback installer that will take you right back to the previous update.
  8. dropped synth notes is usually MIDI buffer related. Go to the Playback and Record tab of the MIDI category, and check what the "prepare using xxx millisecond buffers" value. If it's at 250, try it at 500.
  9. If you have dropbox, google drive, or similar, you can always post a link too.
  10. It's all relative to the device driver. Some device support automatically change sample rates when opening projects, others do not. The Wasapi Shared driver mode can play projects at different rates from the current device setting though, but for ASIO it boils down to how each device handles it.
  11. You'll want to make sure that you notify Waves of crashes within the Waves shell. If you upload a dump here we can sanity check and forward to their development as well, but you always want to report issues with any plugin directly to the plugin developer.
  12. Is Cakewalk updated to the latest version? There was a potential hang on start fix that went into the very latest update. Otherwise there are some things you can change external to the app if there's an audio driver issue preventing the app from being able to start.
  13. We're not aware of any snap related issues. Can you be more specific about the nature of your problem? What view are you trying to use and what are you editing?
  14. Thanks for the heads up, we'll take care of this shortly! EDIT: @HIBI, we've pushed a fix for this, but it'll require having to run the rollback installer, then checking for updates again.
  15. Windows might be set to use a different sample rate than your projects. Windows will default to 48 KHz for the device, which means if you then open a project at 44.1, the windows sounds will stop working because of the mismatch. You can change the setting for Windows in the Device Properties
  16. We're aware of this issue as of 2020.11 and it's logged with development.
  17. Does it happen in every project or just the one(s) you're working on? For example, if you just import a wave file to a new project and export that, does that complete successfully? If can upload a project for us to try on our end that would be helpful.
  18. Thanks for the dump. According to the file, the crash is all within the Spitfire code, so I'd suggest passing that along to them as well.
  19. Go to Utilities | Cakewalk Plugin Manager, find Dimension Pro in the list and hit the Plugin Properties button, then check Configure as Synth
  20. @Michael Fogarty, what audio device are you using? If you try changing driver modes does this impact the waveforms drawing?
  21. Confirmed on our end. The initial run of the onboarding pages should work normally, but running it subsequently can crash. The same settings can be accessed via Edit | Preferences without issue though.
  22. I don't think this would be related to the update. I'm running a Komplete Kontrol S49 and I'm not seeing any issues with either the Komplete Kontrol VST or the controller itself. Do you have anything set up for a control surface that's using the controller's MIDI ports that could possibly be filtering it?
  23. Did you try other projects by any chance? If there's a particular project where you're seeing the problem, that would helpful for us to diagnose the issue.
  24. You can find the rollback installer with the release notes here: It seems unusual that this would have changed from the EA builds as there was no change in that part of the code between EA and the final release. Please try to get us a minidump for the crash.
