  1. Not really. We'd like to make more of the plugins available at some point in one way or another, but exactly how that'll happen remains to be seen.
  2. Yes, BandLab owns all the intellectual property that was under Cakewalk, Inc. We have all the source code for all of the previous plugins, and maintain the authorization back end.
  3. The plugins run additional delay. It's fairly common depending on the plugin. They require extra time to do their processing, so in this case that latency is giving the plugin time to fix those clicks before you hear it. You can either freeze those tracks to record, or temporarily disable them to get around it.
  4. You're in the Basic Workspace, this hides the Navigator pane. If you change that back to "None" you'll have access to it again.
  5. Yeah, I'd wager there's a plugin that's not happy based on the video. As mentioned, opening CbB first, then holding shift when opening the project will open via Safe Mode and you can opt for "No to All" for plugins and see if it loads.
  6. Some people are seeing the crash on load issue(s), but we haven't seen that problem on our end. From what we've seen in the dumps, the crashes are within the Waves shell. We've forwarded some of those dumps to Waves ourselves and encourage others to send them directly too.
  7. If you had SONAR Artist/Prof/Platinum, Session Drummer's x64 version installs with the Artist Instrument Collection. That installer can be run independently after installing CbB as well since it won't change any updated shared components.
  8. We have Waves V12 in house, and I use them every day. That said, we've seen some users experiencing crashes on load, and have sent some customer dump files to Waves ourselves. You definitely should try and follow up with them if you're experiencing problems.
  9. You can see there it's crashing in the Waves 11 shell. Looks like you're missing the plugin suites too though, so just in general you probably want to install Platinum with everything, then reinstall CbB. That won't impact a crash in the Waves shell, though. You can send us the dump file, but you'll probably want to contact Waves as well.
  10. You can do a custom keybinding to Start/Stop Rewind or Fast Forward in the Preferences.
  11. if you go to File | New (as opposed to the start screen) do you see the templates shown? Do the demo projects display correctly?
  12. That's why we have both track and project templates. Track templates are probably the handiest way to take portions of a mix out of one project and just quickly add them to your existing other project files.
  13. @Takahiro Seki We've reported a few issues to Waves about crashes with V12, but if you would like us to check your dump file, please attach it to the post or send us a PM with the actual dump file or a link to it. You can find it in the path specified in the dialog you posted. Unfortunately we can't really do much with a screenshot of the prompt. Thanks!
  14. As mentioned, there seems to be an issue with this link, can you try sending a new one?
  15. We always recommend being on the latest versions, they include more fixes! In the very unlikely case of any new issues being introduced, there's always a rollback installer that will take you right back to the previous update.
  16. dropped synth notes is usually MIDI buffer related. Go to the Playback and Record tab of the MIDI category, and check what the "prepare using xxx millisecond buffers" value. If it's at 250, try it at 500.
  17. If you have dropbox, google drive, or similar, you can always post a link too.
  18. It's all relative to the device driver. Some device support automatically change sample rates when opening projects, others do not. The Wasapi Shared driver mode can play projects at different rates from the current device setting though, but for ASIO it boils down to how each device handles it.
  19. You'll want to make sure that you notify Waves of crashes within the Waves shell. If you upload a dump here we can sanity check and forward to their development as well, but you always want to report issues with any plugin directly to the plugin developer.
  20. Is Cakewalk updated to the latest version? There was a potential hang on start fix that went into the very latest update. Otherwise there are some things you can change external to the app if there's an audio driver issue preventing the app from being able to start.
  21. We're not aware of any snap related issues. Can you be more specific about the nature of your problem? What view are you trying to use and what are you editing?
  22. Thanks for the heads up, we'll take care of this shortly! EDIT: @HIBI, we've pushed a fix for this, but it'll require having to run the rollback installer, then checking for updates again.
  23. Windows might be set to use a different sample rate than your projects. Windows will default to 48 KHz for the device, which means if you then open a project at 44.1, the windows sounds will stop working because of the mismatch. You can change the setting for Windows in the Device Properties
  24. We're aware of this issue as of 2020.11 and it's logged with development.
