  1. I pushed this issue with NI support earlier this year. At first they told me that they couldn't reproduce the issue after I had given them detailed steps. So I persisted and they finally grudgingly passed the issue on to the development team, without any guarantee that it would be fixed anytime soon. Maybe in the next version of KK? The browser could use a re-write anyway in the Kontakt 7 GUI form, IMO... πŸ˜‰
  2. @User 905133The MS-20 filter release is later today, December 20th, according to this announcement. Offer good until January 2nd.
  3. Probably due to all of that pent-up demand unleashed in a single day! πŸ˜‚
  4. My offer is $75 to upgrade from Liquid Rhythm 1.4.5 to "Liquid Music 1.8.0 + Liquid Rhythm 1.8.0". What’s New: Support for recently-changing technologies for operating systems and chipsets including Apple Silicon, macOS 11+ and Windows 11 New compatibility with Bitwig and Reason on Windows (complementing prior compatibility on macOS for these two DAWs) New ProTools AAX for Liquid Rhythm (complementing the prior Liquid Music AAX) on both macOS and Windows, including native mode compatibility on Apple Silicon Full compatibility has been restored with the Liquid Music Max For Live Device (AMXD) in Ableton Live 11+ on macOS and Windows, including native mode compatibility on Apple Silicon Installation and setup have been improved and streamlined with embedded Java (isolated from any system Java) licensed from Azul, and other updated internals
  5. There was a similar issue and solution discussed here >
  6. Easy. Omitted the NI drums (except for Battery), the pianos (except for Noire, Una Corda, & the Giant), the Scarbees, Retro Machines, and a few other miscellaneous titles. I think if I had bought Komplete much earlier before I had collected a bunch of other instruments, I would be less picky. I bought the crossgrade from Kontakt mainly to pickup the NI synths that I didn't have (Absynth, FM8, Massive, Massive X, Reaktor). The bonus was a few nice pianos and Battery.

    Spectral Layers

There's another thread about extracting stems here...
  8. Nice soundtrack and interesting art!
  9. I still have about 30 products in Komplete that are NOT installed here...
  10. I scratch my head wondering how I ended up with so many compressors. And EQs... Assume that they are often freebies, or many different models of them are included in some plugin bundles.

    Spectral Layers

I've not needed to unmix anything yet, but Music Rebalance is interesting in that it might be useful for creating a backing track minus one part for practice or jamming. Has anyone tried that?
  12. Well considering that on first pass, I marked 66 of them favorites. Pretty good ratio, eh?

    Spectral Layers

If you have iZotope RX do you really need SpectraLayers?
  14. FYI to all - some synths that support mouse scroll knob rotation, & some that don't: AIR - yes Arturia - no Cherry Audio - yes (but you have to enable it in each synth). IKM - yes KORG - no KV331 Synthmaster - yes NI - some older NI synths like Massive and FM8 do. But not Massive X. Kontakt only does so on the upper control bar for master volume and tune, but not the instruments where the scroll wheel scrolls the instrument pane. Phase Plant - no Tone2 - yes Tracktion synths - yes u-he - yes Vital - yes Waves - yes
  15. I don't use sample loop libraries. I was referring to sampled instrument libraries for example Spitfire, Orange Tree, Indiginus, IKM, etc. I do have a small collection of waves and loops that I occasionally load into sampler instruments, but I don't use loops and samples by themselves to build up tracks with.
  16. Yep, mine has the XBox cross on the center button too (US model). Since the XBox 360 is a legacy product, this is clearly a 3rd party product.
  17. Some developers support that, but not all do. Arturia does not.
  18. I spotted that too, LOL! Yes, I'm weird... 🀣
  19. I bought a model fitting this exact description in official Microsoft packaging from Best Buy about 10 years ago for a bit more. It still works, it's corded not wireless and plugs into a Windows PC via USB. Batteries not required! I believe these are out of production at Microsoft. This white unit from Amazon appears to be exactly the same as mine, but quite certain that it's a knockoff. Manufactured by Etpark. The price looks good though and has 4.2 out of 5 stars rating on the Amazon reviews!
  20. Xbox 360 Wired Controller, Etpark USB Gamepad, Joypad with Shoulders Buttons, for Microsoft Xbox 360/Xbox 360 Slim/PC Windows 7 8 10 Game (White) $16.59. https://www.amazon.com/Controller-Etpark-Gamepad-Shoulders-Microsoft/dp/B07X6FMNSV/ref=sr_1_7?th=1
  21. Yep, that's where I will get burned. Have saved many snippets of noodling over the years as projects that I intended to get back to eventually ... πŸ™„ When Cakewalk was shutdown a few years ago I dreaded having to convert all those .cwp projects to Studio One or Reaper. Thank you BandLab!!!
  22. Bottom line is that if you are doing any serious work, it's probably best to export your audio stems (and bounce or print the final mix to to stereo audio) so there are no remaining dependencies on plugins. You can always take your audio stems and work with any currently available DAWs/plugins later if you wish to revisit your work, or collaborate with others. Some interesting tips here: https://splice.com/blog/exporting-stems-collaboration-splice/ https://www.sonarworks.com/blog/learn/should-you-bounce-or-print-your-mixes
