    New Audio Mixing Site

Thanks for all the info mibby. Sounds like a good site. Will check it out.
  2. Yan, you can call the support line and talk to someone. (Is that an option for you?) They are the best to tell you what's in your account and what's your best upgrade path. I find it confusing to decide which path to take. I see you posted and already called!!
  3. Yes, I have got usable stuff out of it. It is still relatively new to me, so I can't remember details. But I do know that I was.liking what I was getting out of it and that it wasn't really that hard to work with, once you get your head around how it works. Playbeat I never tried. [Edit] I have used Riffer to make piano licks. Also for drum fills. It's a good program. May not be for eveyone. But I like it.
  4. I got a lower version of BiaB. Then each year I would up it to next version. That way I didn't get the full hit of the money. And I was able to learn it before I spent a ton on something I didn't want. It's a good program.

    AAS Chromaphone 3

I like the new UI much better. Seems more intuitive to me.

    AAS Chromaphone 3

Start the project using Chomaphone 3 demo. You will thank me!! UI is much better. So is the sound engine.
  7. I love the sound of Townhouse. To each his own, but it sounds great to me. Almost anything I put it on just gets better. Works great on Master buss.
  8. Have any of you tried WavesTune? Works really well. No, it's not Melodyne. But for what you pay for it..... Like I said, it works REALLY WELL!! : )
  9. Mmmmmm........ I might pick up that... Yes I did!! Got the V76 Preamp for $51!!! Thanks again Larry!!
  10. I thought you.... Never mind!
  11. In this regard ( creating ideas) I find ST4 lacking. It has some really good MIDI that comes with it for making music, but I haven't been able to manipulate them the way I would like. With the guitar strumming,(to me the acoustic guitar sounds are really good), and the MIDI loops for them are good. You are suppose to be able to manipulate them, but I haven't been able to get it to work. I have been meaning to send in a support ticket on it and have forgotten all about it. So I prefer to work in EZ Keys, Obleisk (great program) or something like that to get a fresh idea going. For me it's just easier to work with. There are pianos I prefer in ST4 over EZ Keys, but EZ Keys plays the midi files I create more realistically.
  12. This^^^^! In my post above I wanted to say how Jamstix is worth the price for Jamcussion alone!! I didn't use Jamcussion for almost two years. I was determined to learn JS4 first. Well once I did, I was so use to using it without Jamcussion I never thought about it! When I first put it in a song, it was like a whole new world opened up!! I never realized what good percussion could do for my songs!!
  13. That's the truth. A GREAT plugin, and I'm glad I have it and stuck with it, but for me, the learning curve was straight up. Agreed. What did help me was getting the manual out while I was trying to do something. Still, it's a learning curve. But I can get almost anything I want with it. Using the Jamstix Classic Style is really where I get what I want. That little 16 dot box can really do anything.. really!! Using the Time parameter on the beat you need in the Bar Editor, you just can't beat it!! I have used the sounds also in some of my songs. They mix well. Aknowledging the learning curve, once you do get it down, come up with your own workflow, creating a song (a whole song) is easy. Then you just import the midi into daw and add finishing touches.
  14. That was a good price. Don't think I seen it that low.
  15. They must use really bright monitors in a very dark environment!!
  16. LOL!!! Agree with ya Bapu, I got everything I need!! And more. But I went ahead and picked up Orb Producer Suite!
  17. The aesthetics could definitely use a facelift! But the functionality has been much improved! Agree with both of you. I still use ST3 on my Surface Pro. And it's not too bad!! But has much more in the contrast department for sure.
  18. Boy ya gotta wonder about marketing: We are going to make it more attractive to WUP by giving you a voucher to help defray the cost of WUP'ing! But, you can only use the voucher in certain circumstances so that we don't give you all your money back!!!
  19. Glad you enjoyed it Larry. BF for me was a good one this year also. Really happy about the deals I got. Now on the Cyber Monday!!
  20. That looks very interesting. Sounds really good too! Haven't used in a big mix yet but what I heard I like. This could be useful.
  21. Yeah. I am almost there. This was the best BF in a while for me. So much so I forgot about Cyber Monday!!
