The song really drives along, actually fast but doesn't sound rushed, excellent mix as well.

I'm now checking balances between 10 tracks & they're pretty consistent. Here's another mix to check with a slightly tweaked drum mix plus a different 2 bus comp setting. I might have to go in deeper & tweak all the tracks a bit..

Totally remix version- edited tracks, replaced plugins, changed verb, re-panned & changed out 2 bus mixing plugins. Mastered with b/w limiter & a bit of dynamic eq. Curious about translation & balance on this. Enjoy & Stay Safe...

Nice one Steve, a great tune to cover. On laptop so can't comment on the mix except the first time the tamb comes it's way over the vocals & not panned..,it's better on rest of the tune..again this is my on laptop..grain of salt..-great job

DON'T go by my mixes!!..when I'm in Florida for the winter this my studio, a 2 foot deep closet w/ inexpensive BX5a's & a water heater to boot! I've used that trick from time to time, usually works better with regular kick & typical elec, bass but I don't seem to get good results using it with upright or fret-less..great point though & I'll try it on this track. Thanks again Gary for your help & suggestions- very helpful.

Hi Starise, thanks for the feedback. I played guitars & the backing keys pads. The collabs were drums, bass, trumpet & piano..sometimes it's tricky making it sound like a band rather than flown in parts..
