  1. David Garibaldi. He's the pick of actual drummers. Garibaldi won the R&B/Funk category of the Modern Drummer Magazine Readers poll six times in a row from 1980 to 1985. He won the same award an additional three times in 2003, 2007 and 2009.[16] In 1998, “David Garibaldi featuring Talking Drums” won the award for Best Percussion Video awarded by DRUM! Magazine.[17] In 2008, Garibaldi was presented the Guitar Center Legends Award. He was also inducted into the Percussive Arts Society Hall of Fame in 2012.
  2. I give him kudos for wearing headphones and not being a nightmare of a neighbor. Most millennials don't have that level of awareness and maturity.
  3. You want to have a debate about global warming? This isn't the place but.....OK. Let's start with some facts: -Glaciers were Already Retreating Before 1900 -Ice ages have been coming and going for eons. -The last 20 years have shown zero warming (hence the switch to 'climate change'). -Man produces less than 1/2 of 1 percent of C02 on the planet. -It was warmer in the 15th century than it is now. -The greatest warming in the 20th century was between 1935 and 1950. -NASA confirms: Sea levels FALLING across the planet in 2016 and 2017. -NASA Data: Earth Cooled by Half a Degree Celsius From '16-'18 -Scientists have been caught manipulating and hiding data. -None, NONE, of their prior predictions have come true. -In 1995 Al Gore said by 2005 Miami will be underwater "due to Global warming". Miami is NOT underwater. -In 2004, the Department of Defense released a report assuring the world Climate Change would destroy all of us by the year 2020. Nope! -The highest record temperature ever reported was 136 degrees Fahrenheit in Libya in 1922. The record high temperature for the United States was 134 degrees Fahrenheit in Death Valley, California in 1913. -Excavations in the Antarctic have shown vegetation use to cover the continent. -If all the C02 was removed from the atmosphere, we would die. Plants need C02 to live and we need plants to live. -US had its coldest February (2021) in more than 30 years, NOAA reports. -Until about 215 million years ago, the Triassic period had experienced extremely high CO2 levels,at around 4,000 parts per million about 10 times higher than today. If you want to worry about a real problem, I suggest overpopulation.
  4. What can you say? We live in a country where you aren't supposed to refer to the largest bedroom in a house as the 'Master Bedroom'. Because some consider it racist. Cancel culture should be called Cancer culture..
  5. Shouldn't this song be under fiction?
  6. So if you give a rat cheese BEFORE it runs the maze, it won't run the maze. If Pavlov was alive today, he would be rolling his eyes. I would 'thunk' it!

  8. It's not because of the pandemic, it is a side effect of growing old!
  9. Save yourself time, trouble and money and just buy a new computer.
  10. Oh man....one of my favorite bands.
  11. The best soft-synth is the one that attaches to your key-chain and makes cool phaser sounds... Pweeooo, Pweeoo!

You do look like a machete-kind-of-guy.

  14. I still think I won.
  15. My first PC: Did I win?
  16. So, you experimented with acid in your younger days? My Aud.ini: *ThickHeadOfHair=0* Well that explains it.
  17. In the comments the tabs vs spaces debate lives on!
  18. The less code that needs to be written, the less bugs are introduced! Microsoft does push hardware changes. They were the first to go from 5-1/4" floppies to 3-1/2" hard shell disks. They were the first to go from 3-1/2" hard shell disks to CD-ROMS. They were the first to go from CD-ROMS to DVDs. Like it or not, they do keep pushing the envelope.
  19. One good thing about Alzheimer's....you can enjoy the same joke over and over! And even if you are married, you can sleep with a different woman every night!
  20. No worries! Nature will take care of everything. There will be a real inevitable pandemic which will decimate the population since there is so much travel and people living in cramped conditions. Or a natural occurring weather event will obliterate the supply of food and there will be mass starvation. In the meantime, I'm going to play some golf and then drink some beer. 😀
  21. My wild ***** guess: Since everything else is working...I would focus on looking at the high hat. There must be a sensor on it and a wire that connects to it and then to the module. Look for a bad connection.
  22. Naaah, they do crazy things so people talk about them, create a buzz and get some free publicity. You sell more that way.
