  1. I think it will come in with the offset no matter how you import it. It does come in where the now time on an import but if the MIDI file doesn't start at 0 the notes will all be offset (just starting at the now time). If you drag it in, it will drop plus the offset. Just one of those quirky things. When I had this problem I couldn't find any way inside SONAR to fix it, short of moving the clip by hand.
  2. MIDI files don't have to start at 0 and are normally imported in place. I don't believe there are any options in CbB to override that (I think Logic lets users do this since it seems to be the source of lots of offset MIDI files). I ended up writing a command line utility to trim MIDI files that were like this, but that's not a practical answer for most people (a collection of drum loops I had bought were all offset, making them pretty close to unusable.)
  3. It's a Play (starting with version 5) bug with the way they do streaming, it really doesn't work at all and will cause the release tails of notes to not be played. The only way to work around it is to always use a SSD drive for samples, if possible set the settings for sample cache (on some computers you won't be able to see any controls, another bug they have acknowledged but haven't fixed for at least a year maybe two), toggle the option to stream from disc to off (check box in the hamburger menu) so it loads everything, and never use fast bounce for render always use the slower render methods. Sadly none of these work 100% of the time. The best solution is to switch to another sampler/library that doesn't use Play.
  4. Only checked the VST3. The VST2 has 5 presets(default and 4 from the source). The broken presets in VST3 versions is a pretty common problem. I'm sure it could be fixed but I'm not sure it's worth fiddling with.
  5. I downloaded and made a Win 64 build (vst2/vst3/stand alone). Seems to work, doesn't have any presets though so I have no clue how well it works/etc. Download it here. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1la0bbBXZ6QrzCG4pJoLoQvWcK7na7eTr
  6. They gave everyone with B3 V1 the V2 version. I was confused too, but even V5 collection owners seem to have gotten it.
  7. Awesome! Though now I'm confused as why I'm not seeing it. That and getting an update for anything from 8Dio is slightly painful, wish they would change that. Let us know when they publish the update and what we need to do to get it.
  8. One thing I did try was running Kontakt 6's Creator Tools debugger while using Anthology to select sections. I'm amazed at how many script errors expensive libraries generate all the time. Anthology has a couple of warnings, but nothing do to with selecting and nothing all that major though. I'm hoping these improved developer tools will help library creators. Good luck with finding a solution, let us know if you make some progress on it.
  9. Seems to be working for me and in Kontakt 5 it seems to be the same. It sounds the like the problem is more the ability to select the other sections. If you can't select the section you can't adjust any of it's options (not just pan). There was an update to Kontakt 6 that fixed a lot of issues very recently, did you apply it?
  10. Seems to be OK for me in Kontakt 6.1.1(R66) with Anthology Strings 1.2.2 (which I just got the upgrade to a week ago or so). Just be clear you load say Divisi - Empty, switch to the section mixer and then try and change the pan control and it doesn't move? The other sections are also selectable for me too (which is why I'm asking).
  11. The free ProximityEQ can't be transferred to a physical iLok either, unlike full Sonible products. Didn't find that out till after Plugin Boutique sent it. You do have to have the iLok software installed though.
  12. It's always downloaded a ton even when installing from the hard drive. At least with U8 and U10, I stopped wasting the effort getting the drive after that.
  13. The source audio watermark thing linked earlier is an invisible watermark. It adds "noise" to a sound file that doesn't cripple the file but gives you the ability to trace where it came from. It's a different kind of watermarking (which is why it needs a tool to find it).
  14. They are all separate NKI's they can be browsed in the NI library panel. Spit up into Pads, Bright, Soft, Bass, Mono, Plucked, Sci FX, Effected, Sequence, Singles. So one level categories. The multis are all a big flat list.
  15. The best way to see if the watermark is there is to play the file, if you hear it (it's a voice that will be over your track every 5 seconds or so) then it's there. If you play the file and it doesn't have the voice it's clean. Most likely the client loaded your file, saved it (to convert to an MP3 maybe or to trim it or whatever) and didn't realize the free software they were using would add the watermark. From Google search this seems to happen a lot.
  16. Maybe instead of vouchers they are starting some new "plugin of the month price" thing? They certainly keep coming up with strange pricing. Just have to be patient, pick your target price and wait for it. BYOME is pretty neat, but to be honest it's not been very useful for making music. This multi-band version seems nice but again not sure how it helps me all that much. A lot of these advanced audio effects fall in that boat for me, could be it's just me though.
  17. Perhaps it's a pricing error? Do you own any of the other Unfiltered Products? The email I got said Then the next email I got (seconds later) offered me a Heavy Hitter Intro Price coupon code to get it for $99. If they had sent out the monthly vouchers I might have picked it up. When I add the $49 version to my cart it creates a coupon for it (so I guess you can't discount it any more). I'll wait till it's $25ish.
  18. $49 if you own BYOME. They also aren't releasing the monthly coupons till after these sales (read it on another forum, but can't remember where).
  19. I bet you have Zero Controllers When Play Stops enabled in the project. The zeroing often sets synth controls to 0 killing volume (by setting filters to 0hz, etc). It's a per-project setting and is most likely wrong in all your templates too, so you either have to edit every template or remember to turn it off when starting a new project. There are lots of threads on this endless topic. Fixing your project now involves figuring out what synth parameter went to zero and restoring it. Sometimes you can just reload a preset to get the correct setting back. Then with the zero controllers option off you should be ok.
  20. Is the audio watermark showing up in the files before you uploaded them to this service? Or are the files you uploaded clean? In which case someone or some process on the other side ran your audio through one of the AVS4you audio editors and saved the file out, adding the watermark. If the audio files you are generating have the watermark in them, then work backwards to figure out which step in the process added the audio watermark. In theory it would be possible for bad software to install replacement codecs that could cause every audio file you output to have a water mark. Though that seems a little extreme.
  21. Arturia has more than once played the limited upgrade special card and then later offered a better deal. I'm waiting.
  22. If I do this I don't get a hang, it just takes a very long time to process a tiny (4 bar) audio clip then when it comes back the audio engine is completely borked. It won't stay on and the play transport is all messed up. But it actually seems to depend on how you make the mono track, which may be why I didn't see it yesterday. If I start a blank project, add an audio track with the + button and select the left channel of my audio input to make a mono track, if you look in the track inspector the Interleave is stereo. If you toggle that to mono before you do the bounce, it seems to work fine. But if you leave it set to stereo it goes off the rails. All the tests I did before I toggled the interleave as part of making the mono track.
  23. I got Anthology during some Xmas special they ran, but to be honest I don't think I've ever used it for anything other than tests. These separate versions don't seem all that different. I think they improved some things but it's all kind of minor. Stuff I'd never notice. They did do an update to Anthology strings, version 1.2, you have to open a support ticket to get it. Not sure what changed in that either. For $8 I figured I'd be foolish not to also get these, but right now they are mostly just a waste of disc space. If I had no string libraries and a full copy of Kontakt and wanted some Violins or Cellos for pop/rock type stuff I think these at $48 are great deals. But if you need the full strings section and are looking at $192, I'm not so sure this is the package you want.
  24. Turn off the Autoplay button in the lower right corner of UVIWorkstation. Looks like a Loop around a play symbol. On loops there are two autoplay buttons. The one at the bottom of the UI for the loop is what controls the autoplay of the loop, not the one at the top in the transport section.
  25. I think they are only free if you own Anthology Strings and bought one of the four volumes (for $8 with a coupon you can get from 8dio). I sent them a support ticket when the Violins came out, they sent me the coupon and I've gotten a coupon for each release to get it for free. If you own Anthology Strings and want these send them a ticket, you should be able to get the entire collection for $8. But if you don't own Anthology Strings just the earlier Adagio products they are doing the $28 coupon, but that's for each volume (you should have gotten coupons for each one you own). Yes, it's crazy complicated.
