Does this video series explain how Amplitube 5 is a downgrade from version 4? Slower, full of bugs, tons of issues regarding people not having the models they paid for in the early version transfering despite IK People guaranteeing all purchases would carry over across versions...

Odin 2 is open source and the version on PA's site is out of date. Current version is 2.2.4 and can be grabbed on the plugin's website. https://www.thewavewarden.com/odin2

[Solved] Presets are no longer available in Sonitus EQ and Compressor
Bruno de Souza Lino replied to tdehan's question in Q&A
All presets should be there. Are they vanished from there too? -
Title says it pretty much. On REAPER, you have a text box you can enter the exact sample value. On CbB, you have this slider that either goes too fast and it's imprecise or extremely slow if you use the arrow keys. Is there another way? I usually keep the latency low for recording, then bump it up for mixing/mastering.

You're using WASAPI Shared as per your screenshots. Change it to ASIO.

[Solved] Presets are no longer available in Sonitus EQ and Compressor
Bruno de Souza Lino replied to tdehan's question in Q&A
Did you try clicking the "Presets" button in the Sonitus plugin? -
I went to their website and I'm loving that dark red on black action that I have to squint my eyes to read. It's gonna be a charmer for visually impaired people.

It seems to be a problem with the engine, as the addition of such plugins will also make the transport slower.

Ampcraft from Kazrog (not a deal...yet)
Bruno de Souza Lino replied to Marc Cormier's topic in Deals
I'd say that Kuassa has the most inspiring amp pack so far. Not IK, not Overloud, NI, STL, Positive Grid, JST others, which seem to be solely focused on making their plugins look good. -
It's also important to note that this thing only activates using iLok Cloud so if you're one of those people that have a audio pc that's disconnected or disconnect to do audio work, you need to have an iLok dongle and register they plugin to it.

I love the fact that their plugins check for updates and that almost crashed my project as one of them opened ASC while I was working.

If you have Cakewalk's Adaptive Limiter, loading an instance of it crashes CbB. When you re-open CbB, the plugin loads fine. Go figure.

Rivium Software is giving away Rivium AI Reverb

I'd say ValhallaDSP's SuperMassive is close to that. -
Ampcraft from Kazrog (not a deal...yet)
Bruno de Souza Lino replied to Marc Cormier's topic in Deals
My main concern with those new amp simulations is that they're becoming very resource intensive for an alleged improvement in sound quality that I'm yet to notice. And yes. That's a 5150/6505. The 6505+ has separate EQ, Resonance and Presence controls for the Clean/Crunch channel. -
I'll also add to what I said that the whole "one-hit clone" comment is very hypocritical considering IK is essentially copying the Arturia Microfreak with the smaller Uno Synth Pro. The Microfreak costs 50 bucks less and has polyphonic aftertouch, which neither version of the Uno Pro have, as I don't believe Fatar makes keybeds with polyphonic aftertouch.

With the current setup, I literally have to wait a few seconds before playing back anything after adding an effect or such as that introduces a dropout. Even mundane things, like resetting TBPro's dpMeter cause dropouts. I don't know if it's something with my setup or some configuration in CbB. I don't have those issues in REAPER and Cubase.

Eh...The Pro version is about the same size as Vienna Symphonic. The difference being that Vienna was over 700 GB in size back when 1 TB hard drivers were expensive.
-
Keep in mind that some acoustic effects can only be accomplished with the existence of that difference in volume that naturally occurs across instruments in real life. Modern music is often tiresome to listen to because it lacks silent moments and those differences as every instrument has to be massive and occupy as much of the stereo space as possible.

You're not welcome. I regret commenting about it and wish I could buy the time I wasted back.

Audio interface died. Input needed.

I almost bought a Digi 001 at some stage. It does work on Windows 10, but you only get the DSP processing with the version of Pro Tools 6 it comes with. -

I would've looked for either a RME or a Firestudio 2626. USB C and 2.0 are still serial buses and you can't daisy chain interfaces like you can in Firewire. I remember Rick Naqvi demonstrating a setup where he had 4 Firestudios daisy chained and synced along with other FW interfaces and ADAT preamps for about 112 channels of recording. -
Windows 10 sound quality - SOLVED

Dark as in pitched lower? Because if that's the case, it's most likely a sample rate mismatch.
