Whoa !!! After reading a few new posts , I 'm starting to get the feeling that some of you fella's around here may cheat a little at the game of pocket pool .... It's OK real men can't help it since we are wired the way we are ... For those of you that need a little clarification of what we are talking about , here is a modern day example of "the benefits of not leaving a witness in your shorts" .? While you are exercising your given rights to express yourself , the first rule and fundamental principal of pocket pool is stated as !!! " Do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing " Always remember this !! This principle is the cornerstone that holds the foundation of our manly sport together .? Why ? Because if you end up getting caught cheating at pocket pool it is important to know that when you follow this rule neither hand , the left nor the right hand can give a reliable testimony on the witness stand ??? As far as guitar players go I'm sticking with the guitar players I have admired and listened to over the decades .I've done a deep dive on all my influences which means not only have I studied my influences and learned what I could from them I also listened and studied the people that have influenced the players I have been influenced by . I have nothing against the new young breed players ,the simple fact of the matter is they just don't do it for me ... On the other hand I am very impressed with the physicality young people display while doing precise physical activities , Younger people have taken it to a whole new level than my generation .. I happen to like to watch clips of people doing stuff like 2 person gymnastics , trick shots , balancing on one hand while taking a selfie on the top floor of a building in Dubai with no safety net . Using their girl as a weight set , bicycle stunts , extreme acrobatics and contortions , I'm old and I'm at the age where if I have fallen and I can't get up concerns me .... I see some of the stuff younger people do and I honestly feel some of them are fearless ..it's like all these young people are a bunch of modern day Evel Knievel's at their chosen sports and physical activities . all the best , Kenny

When Curly was working at a guitar factory he came up with a plan to not get poked in the eye's anymore by Moe when he was playing his guitar. Some people are into relic guitars . On the top end of things The Fender Custom Shop will take a 3 thousand dollar guitar , relic the heck out of it , and charge you between 10 to 15 thousand for an authentic Fender relic .... It's true man ? some people love em . some people hate em . You can just give me the money / price difference so I can go out and find a reliced old high mileage biker chick to date . Some people will do just about anything these days to get people to listen to their music I got to give the guy credit , he did invent a Guitar alteration that praise and worship muscians may approve of ?️ To bad he didn't plan his guitars modifcations better . He could have won over the whole global natural environmental community by letting a woodpecker make all the holes in his guitar for him .? The DAW aspect of MIxcraft shows potential . Yet dealing with this company is somewhat of a waste of my precious time ... Midi preview still isn't in Mixcraft 9 Pro and I doubt it will be added as a feature in Mixcraft 10. My current assesment of this company is it sure likes to string people on when it comes to adding important features people actually want. Kenny

As far as proper recording and sound production value goes ....I suspect who ever was doing the recording for this material used a healthy dose of compresion , eq , proper combined with proper use of levels and space in the mix ...that's all a given when it comes time to tighten up things in post production . Melodyne ? I wasn't there and I doubt if it was used much if at all .Geoff don't need it ? I'm going with the ( or? ) , After doing a deep dive of his music I found out Geoff has been putting out top shelf vocal and theatrical performances for at least ten years on the internet . Geoff's singing the bass parts as an ensemble member of the vocal group VoicePlay have already created quite a stir in the accapella music comunity . For the most part he is just an insanly tallented singer and performer as demonstrated here in this couple of u tube videos . Kenny

Inside my version of Acid Pro 9 It is showing up over here as an upgrade for $99 .00 .... That seems reasonable considering some DAW companies are more than happy to throw the Upgrade price book at you if you miss a paid upgrade or two .... Now as far as the 2 grand plus price I think they are just trying to create a market value based on some of the products they are throwing in as perks ... Many of them were rather pricey back before Magix started adding them in to entice and acquire more customers ... Example ...I paid around 2 bills for the full version of Vandal back in the day and to be quite honest I was happy with what I got ...they are throwing that one in the full version of Acid Pro and they have been for some time ... Then when you add up the Independence full and all the plug in suites as list prices I guess that is how they are getting close to that 2 grand figure ... To take it over to there to that "price figure " I suppose when you add in Izotope ( the version they offer ) Melodyne and some of the Brainworks stuff ...it may appear very close to their Magic 2 grand number .... FWIW I still happen to like the program very much even in today's modern times ...PS as I have mentioned I'm on Acid Pro 9 . In addition to creating music from scratch I have used Acid Pro to transcribe music and I have created unique teaching aids for getting better at the guitar . The workflow and what can be accomplished using Acid Pro lends itself rather well for sound design and creating music for film .. Even though Acid Pro is not a full fledged Film editor it features an easy work flow for creating film music and has for some time ... Hey if you don't believe me try creating film music in side Ableton Live only or Cakewalk only where you monitor the video inside these wonderful DAW programs and see how far you get ? Easy Peasy inside Acid .... Acid Pro might not be the newest slickest DAW on the block these days but hey to each his own I say ...If you happen to find something you like cool keep on using it ...if not don't worry keep on looking and if your lucky you may go from being a seeker to becoming a finder ... Gentlemen I can assure you that you will thank me someday in the near future for the wisdom of this "sound musical advice " Your signifacant other will have been way too distracted to have noticed you have just snuck in 3 new Strats , a Les Paul and a brand new mixer into your studio .?
