  1. According to his post history, this is the only post he's made, yet it says "2" under his name above. Strange
  2. Have you bounced the track down to itself after engaging looping? This is what the "Offline" part of Offline Render refers to.
  3. Who's "we"? I've never seen anyone specifically asking for ASIO4ALL support New users have a responsibility to themselves for at least researching the topic - I did and have never had a driver problem Because you're advocating a return to 30 year old technology which never worked properly. And besides, "upset" is a bit of a stretch, more concerned ?????????????????????
  4. You need to try and work out why the UI is becoming slow. Rolling back to a previous version is just papering over the cracks. Some idea about your system would be useful.
  5. You could try shifting your base octave down
  6. It will definitely help. There are several algorithms available for different applications. Under the Help menu, click on Documentation and search for Algorithms for more info
  7. Have you tried rendering the effects of using AS after making adjustments?
  8. There might be a way to identify it, but it's potentially a long and painstaking method. Start by making a copy of the project and save it under a different name Then open the original up in Safe Mode. When you're prompted to load plugins, enable the first 50% (as close as you can judge it) and disable the rest. Save under yet another different name and see if it glitches. If it does, you've narrowed the culprit down to those plugins you've enabled so you can then repeat the process and enable the first 50% of the enabled ones. Repeat until you've found it If it doesn't glitch, repeat the process on the second 50% of your plugins. The more plugins there are in a project, the longer this will take
  9. Yes, agreed. They should also consider tweaking the code of the VX-64 Vocal Strip and the PX-64 Percussion Strip. These have proved to be very useful over the years but are also prone to instability
  10. So what did you do to solve it? @IgoRr Others may benefit from your solution
  11. What happens if you remove the 2 x 8 and install the 2 x 16?
  12. I don't think there's anything physically built in to the software to stop you from trying So try it and find out
  13. You'd be far better off trying to identify the source of the dropout/slow down and get that fixed. The fact that whatever's going on affects your email and browser strongly suggests it's a problem outside of Sonar.
  14. So have you tried it using the XLR output? Trying it with USB will likely lead to driver conflict.
  15. Not sure what you mean by "overlay sound on the piano roll" Can you explain exactly what you're doing
  16. When you see the pale blue thing, Cakewalk is trying to dock whatever it is you're ,moving into the Multidock. hold down the ctrl key to disable this when dragging
  17. You need to remove it completely from your pc, including the Windows Registry
  18. I actually opened it up on my laptop - Dell XPS 17 9710 Win 11 Home Edition version 10.0.22631 build 22631 CPU is 11th gen i7-11800H 2.3Ghz with 16Gb RAM
  19. It opens up fine here in Sonar Obviously I get warning messages about missing audio & plugins but other than that, it doesn't crash or hang. That's with all 94 tracks and 40 busses active
  20. Have you got input monitoring switched on and direct monitoring at the same time?
