  1. Why are you using a separate synth for each drum? Addictive Drums 2 has a total of 14 audio mixer channels, consisting of 10 mono channels and 4 stereo channels. Specifically, it includes 10 mono channels for individual drum sounds (kick, snare, hi-hat, etc.), 2 stereo channels for overhead and room mics, 1 stereo bus channel, and 1 stereo master channel. Each and all of these channels can and should be routed to individual audio tracks in Sonar, all being fed by a single Midi track.
  2. Agree totally. It seems like a guaranteed recipe for disaster
  3. This is totally unrelated to your original post. I'd start a new topic if I were you.
  4. It might be worth checking the security permissions of the the .dll Make sure you have full control
  5. Current version is 2025.08 Build 004 What's this 31.06?
  6. I know this isn't the answer you want, but personally, I'd never try to slip edit with the transport running. Just my 2 pence/cents
  7. According to my spreadsheet, TTS-1 was shipped with every version of Sonar from 8 through to Platinum. So if you need it, use Platinum if you've got it and work your old projects from there. BUT - it should work in New Sonar, as it does for me. It just isn't bundled anymore.
  8. This for me has to be the way forward. When I want to edit the Midi, it makes total sense to edit a given event in context with all the others. For this reason I keep all my midi drum hits on the same Midi track
  9. Provided you haven't done anything daft like uninstall CbB, AND you've pointed the scanner in Sonar to the same paths then you should be good to go. You might want to do a reset & rescan and check for excluded plugins
  10. TTS-1 definitely DID run on CbB
  11. What the hell? My post needs to be approved by a moderator? What's going on?
  12. You've got the cursor in the wrong position. Put it towards the top of the clip as shown below, then you can drag the highlighted section up/down
  13. Send an email to support@cakewalk.com
  14. You have at the most, 28 days
  15. There's always Sonar Free Tier to consider. You don't HAVE to pay for the full version
  16. Have you rendered every AS affected clip before trying again?
  17. Assuming you're recording at 24 bit, there is absolutely no need to drive the needle anywhere near the red. Adjust the input so you're peaking at anywhere between -9db & -12dB and you're golden.
  18. Unless it's a fairly decent compressor AND you're 100% confident in your ability to set it up, I'd be inclined to record dry and compress it in your DAW. Once compression is baked into a track, you can't remove it
  19. I'd be inclined to make your own click track, using samples from whatever drum vsti you've got Anything with a sharp attack & decay will work fine and you can place the hits on the grid wherever you want. Use a different sample for accents Groove clip the clip & drag it out for as many measures as you want
  20. The Fx button is in the Mix Module of the control bar It doesn't exactly mute all fx, it bypasses them, which does effectively mute them.
