  1. This has no relevance to the OP's query.
  2. On a professional console you would have to click n number of buttons to send to n number of busses Similarly in Sonar, you have a to click the + sign and select a bus.
  3. That's a shame. If anyone needs it: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/2v43oqgjz2aqpkmd76jk9/_Cakewalk-Sonar-Reference-Guide.pdf?rlkey=wrji620px2xqsgby8exvhig81&st=906xaphj&dl=0
  4. Sonar Platinum is NOT coming back, Sonar is, and it's been available for quite some time. Over a year. The fact you paid money to Gibson is irrelevant, if you have a grievance about this, take it up with them. It's got nothing to do with Bandlab Cakewalk by Bandlab will no longer work sometime after August 1st, depending on where in the 6 monthly cycle your licence is, so get ready to move to something else Your choice in Cakewalk is either Sonar Free Tier or Sonar Premium for which you pay a monthly or annual subscription Sonar Free tier is exactly the same s Premium but with a few things locked down. These may or may not be important to you. Specifically, these are: Plugin Oversampling New Track Manager Jump to Track Elastique Pro Stretch Mode POWR dithering
  5. Don't hold your breath waiting.
  6. You could look here, 2 clicks away https://bandlab.github.io/cakewalk/docs/Cakewalk Sonar Reference Guide.pdf
  7. The UI of Sonar is the same in Win 10 as it is in Win 11
  8. From threMain Menu, go to File > Quick Start Screen When it's open, make sure there's a check mark in the bottom left of the screen "Show at start"
  9. Start at "New Features" and take it from there https://bandlab.github.io/cakewalk/docs/Cakewalk Sonar Reference Guide.pdf
  10. Yep. That's exactly what it is. Only applies to Midi tracks or Instrument tracks obviously
  11. What, in your opinion, is lacking in quality?
  12. While Sonar Free offers the majority of the core features available in Cakewalk by BandLab, some premium capabilities are reserved for BandLab Membership, including plugin oversampling, Elastique Pro time-stretching, multiple Arranger tracks and limited dithering algorithms
  13. So exactly the same chance as any other software company. And I was referencing someone who said they "can pull the plug at any time they wish, which doesn't happen with other companies" Two completely different scenarios, don't you agree?
  14. You cannot simply continue with Cakewalk by Bandlab. New authorisations will cease exactly one month from today. After that as soon as your licence expires, so will CbB Free Tier is permanent. You will NOT be forced (or blackmailed as one eloquent user suggested) into buying a subscription.
  15. But kday's complaint was that it was black. I demonstrated that it wasn't black. Why do you have a problem with this?
  16. All your old plugins will continue to work. You might have to point to where they are in Plugin manager, As to whether it's worth paying more, only you can answer that. There is a side by side comparison between Free & Paid on the website. This should help
