  1. You're out of luck. The best you can do is change the track header This will also change the colours of the events in the tracks
  2. The choice of dithering algorithm can make a HUGE difference to the quality of a dithered track.
  3. Your midi notes are displaying as red. What did you expect to see?
  4. Preferences > Customization > Colors Select the area you want to change from Color Category dropdown.
  5. I think you're conflating 2 different uses of bit depth. The depth of an audio file is not related to the depth Sonar uses for internal calculations.

BFD have got a great Black Friday sale going on Buy 3 expansion packs and get 2 free The price of all packs are also heavily discounted and you can use the discount and the buy 3 get 2 free offer at the same time I just bought 5 for £52. These would normally cost over £240
  7. Yes mate, there have been several Windows updates to this Win 11 laptop since my first post, so it could well be that. I'll try my studio rig later on which is still on Win 10
  8. I haven't changed a thing on my system since my original post, now the virtual keyboard looks like this. At least this is useable
  9. It's at the far left of the PRV screen. Just drag it out to the right.
  10. People are still using it
  11. Hmmm. Agreed on Session Drummer, but according to my spreadsheet, Studio Instruments came along with X1, not before.
  12. Are you editing automation nodes from the Automation Lane or directly in the Track?
  13. It's not at all clear from your video what it is you're adjusting in order to change the volume Presumably you're talking about Track 23? The one with record enabled? If you're mixing, switch that OFF The red highlighted waveform seems to be overwriting something on that track. Is this what you're expecting?
  14. That's one way. And if the OP does decide to do this, you MUST turn Ripple Edit OFF when you've done Amore benign way to do this is simple Position the Now Time cursor where you want measures inserted From the Project Menu > Insert Time/Measures That's it
  15. When you import a FLAC file into Cakewalk, it will automatically convert it to a WAV file using the project's sample rate and bit depth. Cakewalk handles this conversion to ensure the audio is compatible with its internal processing. Key behaviours Automatic conversion: Cakewalk converts all imported audio, including FLAC, to the project's native WAV format. Sample rate adjustment: The FLAC file will be converted to match the project's current sample rate, as set in Edit > Preferences > Audio - Driver Settings. Bit depth handling: The bit depth is retained from the original file during the conversion process.
  16. The effect of these emulators is cumulative and you won't hear their full effect unless they're on every track and bus. Listening to a single one in isolation is utter pointless.
  17. There were a few other modules from Softube but these were always paid add-ons and I believe they are now discontinued
  18. Your list is identical to mine
  19. That's fine provided your preview bus outputs to your master bus. Don't route it straight to your mains with having a limiter on it.
  20. Looks interesting, I'll try that one out later Thanks
  21. Anyone know of a decent, cheapish Minimoog vst? I've done a search but there appear to be loads available, at wildly differing price points
  22. Set the Dry to -Inf (all the way to the left) Reverb at 0.0dB E.R. blend to taste in accordance with the mix, but probably never as high as 0dB
  23. The driver listed above is ASIO4ALL, not ASIO. Go on the Helix website and see if they offer a true ASIO driver.
  24. Look under VST3 Audio Effects (VST3) All the Sonitus plugins have been rebranded as Core plugins
