CbB crashes, Sonar won't play Melodyne
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Murray Webster's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Are you inserting Melodyne as a Region FX? Are you rendering each clip when you've finished? -
Do you get the same thing on a brand new project or just an existing one?

Legacy Cakewalk Sonar User - Help?
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Vilay Luanglath's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Send an email to support@cakewalk.com describing your problem. They'll get it sorted out. Once that's done, open up an account at Bandlab, download & Install Cakewalk By Bandlab (CbB). -

Anderton's are good. So are Digital Village, Reverb and GAK (Guitar Amp Keyboards) -
Saying "the plugin in the track pane" is slightly ambiguous. Do you mean a plugin in the Track Fx Bin (which is in the track header, not the track pane) Or do you mean in the clip Fx Rack (attached to a clip, in which case Wookiee's explanation above provides a possible answer

Why does stretching an audio clip cause clicking?
Bristol_Jonesey replied to T Boog's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
As you've found out, rendering a clip by bouncing utilises a different algorithm - offline vs online. This makes a world of difference. -
Arranger tracks are explained in detail, starting on page 354 of the Reference guide.

There was an update of Sonar, but I've not seen anything for CbB

Well you could use Offset mode and simply drag the volume fader up/down. IF it's a volume envelope. If you do choose this, make sure you switch Offset Mode OFF when you've done

From AI Dithering should be applied when reducing the bit depth of an audio file, such as when bouncing from a 32-bit or 24-bit session to a 16-bit or 8-bit file. This is typically done during the final mastering process before export. Dithering helps to minimize quantization distortion that can occur when reducing the bit depth of an audio signal. Elaboration: When not to dither: Dithering is generally not needed when working with 32-bit floating-point audio, as the dynamic range is wide enough to make quantization errors negligible. Where to dither: Dithering should be applied as the final step in the mastering process, just before the final export. You typically only need to dither once in a DAW application, on the main stereo output, says Production Advice. When to dither: Dither is necessary when reducing the bit depth of an audio file, for example, when exporting from a 32-bit session to a 16-bit file for CD or streaming services. Why dither? Dithering introduces a small amount of noise to help mask quantization error, which is the distortion that can occur when the bit depth of a signal is reduced.

Sounds like you uninstalled CbB which might account for the lack of plugins. I suggest you install it again

Saving a custom Workspace with the Synth Rack docked will do this

Cannot figure out why Export different than mix I hear
Bristol_Jonesey replied to dougalex's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Your master bus fader is at -11.1dB This should always be at 0.0 That's your first step Also, the zip file doesn't contain any audio so further diagnosis isn't really possible -
[solved] fit project to window /song duration too long
Bristol_Jonesey replied to Sakini's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Yes, you need to delete the intervening space Best way is to use Ripple Edit All Select the time region between where you want it to end and where Cakewalk thinks it ends and press delete SWITCH OFF RIPPLE EDIT WHEN YOU'VE DONE!!!! -

Yes, this is exactly what I'm seeing.
