Celemony! I've had to deactivate and reactivate the same computer a time or 2, so it can be confusing. ASAIK he has Melodyne Assistant 5 which should be good-to-go. The only issues with Melodyne on Win11 is older 64 bit versions won't work. Older 32 bit does work but there is no 32 bit v5.... Know that incase you need 32 bit and upgrade to v5, because you can't have both versions installed.

Now we I know why.

Or maybe it's a conflict between Sonar and CbB when saving. Most of you know better. But there's always one who's gonna do it anyway. Open 32 bit Sonar project 1.cwp in CbB and save it as 2.cwp. Now it's a 64 bit project. Open 2.cwp in 32 bit Sonar and save it again as 3.cwp. 3.cwp is now corrupted. Even tho newer features can be lost in translation, the basics should be intact. Right? Maybe not... 1. In one project the outputs got crossed and the Inspector is confused what to display for output: Inspector: Here Onyx 2 is being displayed as Onyx 1 and Onyx 1 is MIA. Console View: Here the correct output is showing activity. In another instance the right meter showed activity even when the left output was selected.

Changing the order in which Audio Devices are listed in Preferences\Audio
sjoens replied to norfolkmastering's question in Q&A
MIDI must behave differently. It has a Move Checked Devices to Top button. -
Double-click manual entry is not available for Gain & Pan... and Arpeggiator controls. What if we could Double-click. Ener value. Hit enter or left-click elsewhere. Done. Left-click & F2 is available, tho. Edited for accuracy.

Tho this is usually the case, I'd like to know how one got waaay down there! I often create an arranger section from song's end to as far as needed, then activate all 4 Select Module buttons, then select the arranger section and delete it.

True. Not all vacs are created equal. Also depends on how much has accumulated and how much of it you want back in your face or moved to other unwanted areas. Sometimes using both together is the trick. But don't take my word for it. I also use magnetic screwdrivers.

It's in post #2. You have to be signed in to download stuff.

This one is rather obscure. Ask This Every Time To open the dialog box when the option is unchecked, click the Insert Soft Synth Options button in the Synth Rack view toolbar. (4th button)

Why is my PRV suddenly behaving so sluggishly?
sjoens replied to Keni's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
When you removed them from the project, did you save-as, close CbB, and reopen? Also, looks like there's no Pause key... or Print key on your keyboard, but they may be assigned to F14 & F15 as on mine. -
In PRV, holding the Alt key invokes the Scissor (note lower half) & Eraser (note upper half) tool cursor which are used when Left-clicking. However, holding the Alt key when Right-clicking Moves/Copies notes between tracks in PRV, but still uses the same cursors which is confusing because you're not sure what's going to happen next. Is this unavoidable because of the Alt key?

So now I can't either. They may have fixed it with one of the recent updates. As I try different Paste Special settings, other odd stuff is happening, like new clips being pasted when Paste into Existing Clips was checked. But now I think it's behaving as expected, so maybe a setting was off?! Thanks for helping. While doing this I got another instance of a pasted one-note-with-full-length-clip. It only happened once so definitely some kind of bug.

Always. Only thing I can figure is Lassoing selects the notes on both linked clips (which is technically not necessary since they are linked) and as a result something is being misinterpreted or conflicted in the translation. Will try to get a screenshot later.
-
When 2 clips are linked, any changes made to one automatically changes the other so you don't have to edit them separately. In PRV I often want to edit a series of notes in a linked clip, so I right-click lasso them, then copy & paste to a new location. At the new pasted location is where adjacent notes will disappear for no reason. Lasso selection is what causes this. Not sure if that's intended. Obviously single notes in linked clips don't need to be lassoed. But lassoing several notes is much faster than Shift+click selecting them individually.
-
FWIW they all work fine on my Win11 2-screen system at any scaling. CbB Inspector Bank/Patch menus, on the other hand...
-
Don't get me wrong, I love Ctrl+C&V. But in this case cooler ways exist. One more bug that bugs me tho is when clips are LINKed, adjacent notes disappear when lassoed notes are pasted.

Only when bouncing... clips or glass vases.
