  1. I'm using Garritan Pocket Orchestra .prog files with Dimension Pro. Some of the instruments are Solo or Legato and only play one note at a time (non polyphonic). Is there a way to adjust Dimension so they can play polyphonically (chords)?
  2. I started having the same issue myself but it only affects one track. PRV notes are all black even though the Clip & Inspector colors are green. Copy this clip to a new track and the notes are now all white in PRV regardless of Inspector & Clip colors. Only way I found to fix it is to change all MIDI track colors in Preferences. Clearly a PRV bug of some sort. I don't recall ever having this issue until recently so maybe related to a CbB update?
  3. The hard part is getting your system to recognize 2 "different" plugins with the same ID. ____________________________________________ (I don't always produce like it's 1999, but when I do, I use 32 bit plugins. I also use 32 bit Sonar.) - the most uninteresting man in daw world
  4. If I ever post a theme I'd expect it to be ravaged by scavengers. It's part of the game. AFAIK there's no copyright or wrong here. It's up to you. Acknowledgment is always nice tho.
  5. In TV change the clip display by choosing Clips or Notes Clips displays notes and Wheel cc's Notes allows editing of notes and displays notes with either Velocity cc's or both Velocity & Wheel cc's Because Velocity cc's are obnoxious white and overpower dark clips, it would be nice to have option of no cc's at all
  6. 1. Select the tracks in PRV's Track View 2. Swipe the keys to select all the notes 3. Adjust the cc data
  7. Trying TTS-1 and other VSTi's with cc11 but it seems to have no affect here at all.
  8. It seems to happen when I use the "D" key to go between Track & Console views. I couldn't focus any track until I double-clicked a track name, then clicked away from the name. Doesn't happen when both views are visible (1/2 screen each). Confirmed 5 times in CbB and Sonar Splat.
  9. That's Step Sequencer. It will remain grayed out until you insert a MIDI track. Event List (Alt+8) & Video (Alt+Shift+2) aren't even listed for some reason. I say this because everything is present in my Views menu when opening an Empty Project.

    Snap MIDI Note To Grid

There are occasions when Cakewalk/Sonar will not respond to snap properly. I've had things snap to odd positions or not at all. A program reboot may help.
  11. For some reason, selecting the initial range in the Markers View displays the blue highlighted range in the Time Line but doesn't actually select anything. You have to manually select it in the Time Line itself. Once you've done that, you can select a new range in the Markers View. ? OR You can use the Arranger track to create a range of any desired length. Simply click on that "section" and it's selected.
  12. 1. Select a track 2. Go to Inspector > Clip and deselect Use Track Colors 3. Click on Foreground/Background color squares and choose colors Can't be transparent Most colors but primary, black and white will have a gradient
  13. Can't do it but would be a nice addition.
  14. Extract files to your HDD and Import them into you theme by right-clicking the item in Theme Editor and selecting Import. The 3 GAIN modules are larger than the originals so they can't be imported. You must open them in a photo editor through Theme Editor. 1. Open Theme Editor and click Tools. 2. Click Setup Wizard 3. Click Next > 4. Click Next > 5. Select your photo editor and click Next > 6. Click Finish Open Theme Editor and find the original graphics 1. Double click each one at a time. This will launch your photo editor and open the graphic 2. Open the new graphic in the photo editor 3. Copy the new one into the old one 4. Delete the layer with the old one 5. Save the file 6. In Theme Editor click OK and save the theme with a new name Theme Editor includes the old gray background graphics. Don't change these as they are no longer used. To change color, open in a photo editor and adjust the HUE setting.
  15. Track/Clip colors can be changed ln T.E. and Preferences > Customization > Colors, and Inspector > Clip > Foreground/Background.

    Tempo Event

Clip tempo vs. Global tempo. There's an idea.

    Tempo Event

I'm all for a "vertical" snap. In Tempo View, Global Snap only affects tempo time, not the tempo itself. To enter a specific tempo you have to draw/click where you want it, go to the righthand list, double click the tempo and adjust it manually. You can also change tempo using the Control Bar Transport Module and enter the exact tempo, or the File Menu Project > Insert Tempo Change which opens the same dialog window as above.
  18. You can change the icon's color with Theme Editor.
  19. I'll try that next time it acts up again.
  20. Focusing & Selecting are 2 different things. Your tip Selects a track, which can also be done by clicking on one of it's clips. Focusing is supposed to be accomplished by clicking anywhere in the Control Pane area. And usually works but for the times it tefuses to.
  21. Background is currently N/A. Only editables are under Theme > Browser in TE.
  22. Focus should move to a track when you click on it's Control Pane. Occasionally I can click a hundred times on a track and it never gets focus until I click on one of it's Clips. Now it's Focused and Selected. After that Focus works as expected.
  23. Cakewalk uses system installed TTF fonts listed in the String files of the TTSRES file. MS San serif, Tahoma, Arial, Times New Roman, & Courier New, are listed with Arial being Track Name and Control Bar fonts. You can change the font face using a resource editor with mixed results, but I haven't found a way to change size. Lyrics view allows you to change font face & size. Snap & Screenset button text is painted on graphically.
  24. In Rapture (not Session) and Dimension, just click on the Bend values in scook's example and scroll your mouse up. The limit is 24 semitones or 2 octaves.
