Solutions to remove pops and clicks in audio tracks?
Terry Kelley replied to Simon Webster's question in Q&A
There is also PG Pop and Click Remover in Cakewalk. You might have to sort by Manufacturer or Category to see it. Only if you have Band in a Box. -
Not Liking the look of the New Sonar Interface

Four digits? I had to write it down and give it to the telegraph operator! -

Maybe someone can try this and confirm: 1. Select an Audio track 2. Click on properties 3. Click on Audio Snap 4. Check the Enable box 5. Check the Follow Project 6. Select another Audio track and do the same 7. Go back to the original and see if the Follow Project box is still checked. A couple of times the box wouldn't show the check mark until I moved to a different track and then back. There is always a slight delay before the box is refreshed while it does the audio snap, but in this case it just never showed up until I flipped back. Minor but could be me too. Usually is! -
Where do we post Feedback about Sonar?
Terry Kelley replied to John Vere's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
I didn’t think any Cakewalk was promoted for the video editing market. Correct me if I’m wrong. -

Yeah, that’s a good description: raw. But so far I haven’t run into any issues other than readability which is something a good theme could fix. -
You can download sonar at the bottom of the Sonar website under Downloads. Many of us are playing with it.

I still use CoolEdit and it’s pop/click plugin but I assume there is something newer at this point. -

They haven’t given us specific pricing but so far you have monthly and yearly for this beta release. The final pricing is unknown but I highly doubt it will be less than this. I’m hoping they will split out Sonar and make it available without the Bandlab stuff. For me Bandlab isn’t a selling point. If I want to get exposure, I’ll go out on the road. -

Side by side at 1920 I can't say it's any sharper but I suspect high resolutions will look better. If anyone is using >1920 let us know. -

Yeah, it could be anything. -

I wonder if the license will allow for more than one installation. -

The activation had two choices - 3 days for $15 or 12 months for $150 (a 16% discount!) I suspect Sonar will be “pay forever” software. But that’s not in stone yet. -

Click the left arrow on the slider below the transport buttons. That's one of many ways to rewind to the start. -
Shhh! Don't tell anyone. Sonar is now available
Terry Kelley replied to John Vere's topic in Cakewalk by BandLab
Been playing with it. Seems nice but I need to dig into some of the improvements. It generally feels like CbB overall (expected.) I have a couple of overloaded project using Augmented Strings and Voice, TW16x and Emulator on top of a bunch of VSTs. Unless I freeze some tracks it will stutter like crazy. It played smoothly in Sonar but that's anecdotal at best. But it did work! -

User 905133 Why confused? Scroll to the bottom of the Sonar page and you'll see DOWNLOAD. Hopefully you can handle it from there. -
I noticed I could download the new Sonar from the Cakewalk site. I can't save since I can't activate it but I have loaded projects and started poking around. It's very Interesting - and encouraging. 1. Enhanced display scaling is interesting. 2. Paid for 3 day activation so I could save (not that I need to)

Sheet music / staff view - adding notes and dynamic markings
Terry Kelley replied to ThexEmperorx's topic in Feedback Loop
What it does is impressive! -
And if anyone does a search for this same question they will have the benefit of AlexBacki adding a solution even if it is a couple of years later. I appreciate that and it keeps the answers in one thread.

If you already have the drums working with a single stereo output and want to send things to individual tracks, add however many instrument tracks you want, rename them, go into EZD and in the mixing, change the output number and then set each tracks input to the matching EZD output you set in the mixer. And be aware that each EZD output is stereo so you will want pick 1+2, 3+4, etc. if you didn’t specify otherwise when you inserted the plug-in. I start will all EZD going to 1+2, then change the BD to 3+4 and add a track. Then snare goes to 4+5 and a new track. That way everything else stays on 1+2 until I split it out. OH to 5+6, HH to 7+8 … Otherwise do what others suggest and set the outputs when you insert EZD. I prefer to send everything to a stereo pair and then split them out as needed since I don’t need or want every instrument on its own track.

I’ve never has a preset do that. Interesting. I certainly learned to not adjust any settings while it’s playing because that WILL do it.
