  1. Yes. In the Track View> Display>Module Options UNCHECK Allow Module Resizing. There is a similar setting in the Console View Options. I don't know the maximum number of FX it will show but it will show more than the default setting will allow.
  2. I just checked my latest project in Sonar free and it works as it should. Very curious. Might the problem be some Now Time setting? If it were me, I would reinstall the program to see if that had any effect. But that's one of my first go-to problem solvers, like rebooting.
  3. Have you checked the On Stop, Rewind to Now Marker in the Track View Options?
  4. Might that be related to Workspaces or Screensets? I've never used either so I'm not familiar with their behaviors. Have you tried locking the Modules' order? I am using the free tier, no workspace or screenset, and my Control Bar never changes. There is an update for the Cakewalk Product Center, and Sonar, today. Is that the Sonar build you are using? 31.07.0.084 ?
  5. I've been listening to her a lot today and am still amazed by her note choices. I don't think I've ever heard anyone else play like her. She burned bright for awhile and then her focus changed away from electric prog-rock, but I still love her old stuff.
  6. Yeah, that link is wonky and its HTML seems to have elements missing. Here is the link to the current Cakewalk Sonar Reference Guide in PDF format. The page you posted seems to be referencing page 918 of the current (as of July-08-2025) Cakewalk Sonar Reference Guide. I suggest you download it and keep it handy. Much easier than looking online for info. Cakewalk Sonar Reference Guide
  7. In the Track Inspector Display menu at the bottom, click Module Options and UNCHECK Allow Module Resizing. If it is checked, and that seems to be its persistent default, plugins may not show until you resize the plugin window with the drag bar at the top of the FX bin. The Console View has a similar setting in its OPTIONS menu.
  8. Here is the download link at the legacy Cakewalk site. Cakewalk Command Center
  9. Try this. Open the Options menu at the top of the Console and make sure Allow Module Resizing is NOT checked.
  10. The icon shaped like a gear will open the insert soft synth options window, the icon shaped like two horizontal lines labeled properties will open the synth you've selected in the synth rack and its controls, if I understand your question correctly.
  11. The synth rack only shows the synths I have added to my project, but its tools icon opens the synth properties window.
  12. Maybe it's opening undocked and is hidden? The Keyboard shortcut for the synth rack view is alt+9 and that works for me, too. Does your browser open when you press b?
  13. I rarely use the synth rack so I might be missing something, but I can open it from the Views menu.
  14. After several years of frequenting this, and the legacy, forum my opinion is that the more sub-forums and threads there are the more likely it is that someone will post to the wrong one. There may not be an elegant solution to this problem, especially since the components of the free and subscription models are still fluid.
  15. Log out and then log in again if you haven't already. Those modules should show up and be available after you log in after installing them.
  16. The download links are are the bottom of the page. Sonar X3e Updates
  17. I meant the oversampling feature. When I try to use it it takes me to the Get Membership screen.
  18. Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the free tier.
  19. Ah, okay. Thanks for clearing up my confusion.
  20. I installed the latest Sonar update today with the Product Center and now Cakewalk Session Drummer has a little crown on it denoting that it is a premium addon now. I have Session Drummer 3 VST2 in projects and they still load and play fine, I assume because I had it already because I have X3 Producer installed. Is the new 'premium' Session Drummer VST3 and how will this affect those who only had Session Drummer through an earlier Sonar installation where it was free?
  21. I've never had any problems signing in to Bandlab for CbBL activation (did it 1 minute ago) so my advice is mostly theoretical based on my experiences with browsers and other users' comments. First, I would clear Bandlab cookies from the browser and clear the cache. Then I would try to sign in from Cakewalk by Bandlab's Help menu. That should take you to your account at Bandlab where you can sign in and activate CbBL. That process always works for me, anyway. Alternately, sign out in the Cakewalk Product Center and then click the Please sign in to BandLab banner in the Cakewalk Product Center. This will also open the Bandlab login page at the BandLab website. If you can successfully login to BandLab that way I would reinstall Cakewalk by Bandlab using the Cakewalk Product Center. Maybe you've already done all that but I always fall back on the basics when something goes wrong for me on my computer.
  22. For sure use the Product Center. If that does no good then John Vere's post is your only recourse.
  23. This is one of my favorites from Eva Cassidy.
