  1. Okay, I'm confused, because you posted "but doesn't appear on the track page where I can add it to a track". I, for one, and unclear as to what exactly you are doing or what you are seeing. Anyway, good luck.
  2. Are you trying to add it as an audio effect or as a synth?
  3. I've seen the videos. The evidence he offers as proof is undeniable. Science!
  4. Three times I Pasted the registration number in the first box and each time it pasted the number starting in the second box, leaving the first box empty. I have done this many times with Kontakt player and this is the first time I saw that behavior. No big deal. Just thought I'd mention it in case someone else had the same problem.
  5. I installed this one a few hours go. I had a little problem installing this in Kontakt because when I tried to paste the registration number in Kontakt it started the paste in the second text box instead of the first. I typed the registration number into the fields and that did the trick.
  6. I cheated and read the manual. Equalizer – Narrow-Band Sweeping. Also, the higher the mouse cursor is to the top, the louder that audio will be, so it's like a volume control.
  7. The only one of those I've used is Voxengo's Span. I have found it very useful over the years. I particularly like that you can hold down the Ctrl key and scrub across the audio and only hear the frequencies you are scrubbing.
  8. Whew. For a minute there I thought an entire musical genre had passed me by. Wouldn't be the first time. The only RAT-type plugin I have is the Black Distortion from Nembrini Audio. I've only tried them together after reading your post, and it does seem to be a good combination. And it's free. Nembrini Audio Free Plugins.
  9. If you already own it, run the UA Connect app to install updates for this and other UA products.
  10. Press the Pause/Break key on your computer keyboard to see if that helps.
  11. It's more clearly explained in page 428 of the Sonar Reference Guide.
  12. Process>Nudge>Settings. In the settings you can select the increments you want the Nudge to perform. The second image is my Nudge settings which I have tweaked for a specific use and are not the defaults.
  13. I just bounced a work in progress down to a stereo track and everything is fine. The only thing that looks different is that instead of the bounced track created at the bottom it is above an empty folder at the bottom. That may be normal behavior as I very rarely have empty folders in a project.
  14. No problems on my end. I just signed into my account there to confirm.
  15. Maybe something that allows you to use the guitar as a MIDI controller, like the Roland GK-3 Divided Pickup?
  16. I use a trick modified from something I learned from Scott Garrigus' website, DigiFreq. I created a .TXT file that contains the text DEL /Q "C:\CAKEWALK PROJECTS\PICTURE CACHE\* I saved the file with the name DELETEPICS and changed the file name extension from .TXT to BAT . When I double click the file it deletes everything in that folder.
  17. Yeah, a couple of small Mackie speakers.
  18. Very well put together. I liked it. To me, that syncopated percussion instrument sticks out a bit, like it has its lows rolled off maybe a bit too much. Maybe it's just me and how I hear things.
  19. Aaron's Sonar Mp3 Patch is not something that came with any Cakewalk version. It is a third party plugin that has to be downloaded and installed separately. I did an Internet search for 'Aaron's Sonar Mp3 Patch' and several sites that host it came up in the results. I just downloaded and installed the one from Softpedia, but haven't tried it yet. EDIT: I just exported a project in the latest version of Sonar free tier and it seems to work fine.
  20. What audio interface are you using? Many audio interfaces can do what I think it is you want to do without additional software. My Steinberg URC24, for instance, can record Windows audio while also recording the audio from its inputs.
  21. Maybe a cello? Of course, I think cellos should be in everything. I blame Darling Violetta.

    Locking guitar tuners

The little things can make a big difference. I'm very meticulous when changing a set of strings. I keep the string snug on the tuner, I hold down the strings with my left hand and pull all the slack out of them with my right hand. I put graphite in my nut slots and 3-in-One oil on the bridge saddles and my TP-6 tailpiece. My Gibson SG stays in tune and is only affected by the temperature and humidity. I've used locking tuners before but the only difference I noticed was it took less time to change strings. People dive-bombing with a whammy bar might have a different experience but I've never had much use for them.

    Locking guitar tuners

I found websites that sell locking tuners that are claimed to be direct replacement tuners for that model. Here is one of them. There is a video there that shows how to install them. PRS SE Locking Tuning Machines - 3+3, Chrome
