With the numerous VSTs and presets there is probably something I already have to fill that imaginary void.

There was a developer who used the sounds in Kontakt to sell them as a refill. After being caught one of the statements was "autism is a serious thing". It's our nature when we are caught to always deflect. This William guy has a forum and now no one is in it. Maybe we can figure out why. Whaddaya bet he also deletes FB comments?

Wow that's dumber than falling for Waves deals. If I were you I'd leave that part out. He also likes to flaunt his mental illness whatever it is for sympathy. It's the net you can be anything you want to be. On the plus side he does answer support issues.

I think that's often the case with most presets. When I look at them that are for specific genres it's how many times can they reinvent the wheel.

I'd say that's with almost everything I buy. Unfortunately Kontakt is always used as a rompler.

It isn't. User groups are not always proof. A developer goes by how often a product is downloaded. Somehow you think a developer is blind to your first statement. A good example is look at all of the Kontakt libraries compared to Halion.

Developing an RE is similar to creating something to use in Kontakt player. Reason charges a developer 30%. The are fewer RE developers. Many of the free REs are from developers who stopped making them. They can't be resold and proprietary and bloat a system drive. My RE's take up 15GB of OS space because they can't be moved.

Stuff you ignore in a DAW because you think 3rd party is always better or just didn't pay attention to it. Sonar/Cakewalk -Cyclone seemed like it was ahead of its time. It's still in there. Not really sure how to use it -The hidden plugins like the Percussion strip 64 -Sonitus Plugins - Beatscape was a useful Rex player at one time. FL Studio Everything - Harmor and Sytrus are their flagship synth but after going through all of them I didn't realize you can create music with them. Their effects are overrated and seem to add new ones. Live Suite -Max4Live Takes some time to learn Reason Studios -Subtractor, Thor, and Redrum are still a beast to use. They can suffer from neglect due to the shiny REs. Redrum is my favorite easy to use drum sampler. I do come across many tutorials and templates using stock devices. I guess some effects in Reaper are popular. Logic seems to have its own share. I remember when DAWs were not complete and you had to buy additional plugins. Some plugins at one time that were in DAWs were no better than demo software.

Maybe wait till it's $10.
