I have both. Groove 3 seems to be more up to date with new releases. Plus I like their stuff that is non DAW. If you buy a tutorial the format is better as well for offline viewing. While having both I find myself buying more from Udemy. To this day no one has made tutorials at the level that Sony did Acid and Vegas. They were expensive but every lesson had project files. You rarely see that. I think the best marketing in a high competitive market is developers providing more learning resources. I think Reaper's popularity would have happened sooner if they did that. I'd like to see Melda do more. There does come to a point where playing around with something probably benefits more than watching someone else do it. If there is a shortage of videos it's guitar tone for idiots at the simplest level. Like the difference between humbuckers and single coils. No high end gear, just a cheap solid state amp, the real beginner guitar, ect. No one does that.

Stuff like that makes me laugh. I can spend all day watching videos with farts.

I'd take the WD over the Samsung. WD SSDs have a 5 yr. warranty and their RMA is one of the best.

What is really odd about 8W Black is that it loads pretty decent on a HDD. Usually 8Dio libraries choke on them.

That was known when the iLok versions were released. The new players Synchron and Vienna Instruments will not support elicenser. Also Vienna Instruments Pro which is free is of no use if all of your libraries are Synchron.

The nice3 thing about PA is if you already have a license they add 3 more to your account.

No demo means it's not worth the money and they probably know that.

I would've jumped on this at one time. The reality of plugin hoarding is settling in. I think that's the case with many since PA gives a universal code for their $25 voucher. I wonder if I will see Waves ditch the WUP in my lifetime.
