  1. Welcome to the modern age of synth programming called sound design and not to be confused with music design.
  2. They haven't got far enough got legacy hardware. I wouldn't worry about it anyway. Most people aren't going to "uppgrade" because the developers graduated from Idiotic Graphics 101. The DAW world recognizes people still use desktops.
  3. This is what happens when you have too many plugins. I have them. Everything outside of their plugins suck. Their web page navigation is terrible and Korg Software pass is a joke. See also their licensing. It's only for one computer. Sotware Pass doesn't really seem to update. With some many other synth options I may consider deleting these.
  4. I guess the haven't invented the resizable GUI for VST. No buy for me. I may delete the ones I have.
  5. i can buy a whole lotta desktop for that price, but that eliminates the chance of ever using Logic or Alchemy2 .
  6. The word "Subscription" is a major turnoff.
  7. Yep. The question is what system would I put it on with their crap licensing. I was hoping maybe Gold/Maxx would be around 90 which is what my WUP. If I had to do it all over again I would have only bought RennMaxx.
  8. That's still a lot of money. 2 TB is more reasonable at 179.99 so is the 1TB 89.99. WD has great RMA service.
  9. Ovox is $35 and you'd get 1 free plugin
  10. I have one too that I will probably give away. BTW are we allowed to do that?
  11. It is nice but since I don't make money of my work (too bad that work wasn't shopping for DAW stuff) these bundle things are never a wise purchase. There is this trend now in libraries to have a smorgasbord of sounds. The size of these things are getting really bloated. I give Spitfire props for not forcing something like this into their proprietary player. I'd put this on my Spitfire wishlist but the 40% off is pretty much this intro deal.
  12. As a diabetic my doctor said, "No too sweet". As part of my ongoing rehab I have a dietician who said maybe half of one would be okay. Like really what would I do with the other half other than throw it away, Bananas were not always a good purchase. (If I could only think of DAW stuff as bananas) I probably threw more away once they got spots and were no longer firm. Once they get old throw them in the freezer to use as smoothies,
  13. They can be created for marketing purposes, Even the Europeans are in on it.
  14. Probably what was lacking is good development for Kontakt. You could go further back in VI-Control when their first string library came out and some bought it and made suggestions.
  15. Maybe by them I would know how to use them outside of presets,
  16. Sounds like the FL Studio user who presents all of these ideas on their forum thinking Image Line will go under. We forget new users happen almost every day. Their user base has grown about 20% every year. I have a product called Goldwave which is the most affordable and underrated audio editor. I bought it in the last century and I still get updates. The larger companies have such a larger support staff that free lifetime updates are not possible. They also place large ads and send a rep to every NAMM like thing. Cakewalk was sold to some dude who has some serious cash. Bandlab probably wont go under unless he dies and someone greedy takes over.
  17. LOL the upgrade "special" has been in our accounts for some time. That one still makes me unhappy with PA.
  18. It blocks one of them. Not sure if it's VST2 or 3.
  19. Probably shouldn't be posting their deals. Sad that at one time they showed some promise.
  20. That's why Image Line no longer sells their VSTs. They don't want to use their time on plugins to work in 10 different DAWs, I'd probably harass UJAM if that's their attitude. There's plenty of places to make it known. I'll bet they don't have a clue the size of the user base basing it on being a free DAW. Maybe the Bandlab crew can work on a fix.
  21. Great for synth hoarding. Studio One rejects bx_oberhausen.
  22. Most synths come with their own. There's midi files that do the same thing. I have Cthulhu, Scaler, Riffer, and how knows what else and I probably need to use those. For that price despite from an excellent developer it's an easy pass.
  23. Same here. I just live with my not so wise purchases. I think the days of the "plugin broker" are dwindling with the low prices and giveaways. Some guy wanted to trade his licenses of free stuff for a Kilohearts $30 voucher. I guess there's hopes of a naive person. He probably could have just asked without trade since those of us have everything. We see people giving away their PA vouchers and not asking for anything in return. I also don't trust the honor system in the digital world.
