We've gotten away from what Deals is all about. We are all guilty of being off topic but we should also participate in the other parts of the forum. I tend to blow them off if they are not in the right place. We've created a bad habit.

He can use the demo. Basically the higher prices features more of their synths and effects. Most buy the Producer Edition. There's no shortage of info on how to use it. You never have to pay for an upgrade and ever upgrade they seem to throw in new stuff. I could come up with plenty of reasons to go with it. They only drawback is it takes some adjusting if using a linear DAW for a long time. Plus I'm not a fan of their plugin manager. There's plenty of reasons why it is still the most popular DAW out there.

He can use both. It has the best licensing for a paid DAW. It's very deep below the surface. Like all of the other DAWs getting their supreme package is not a good value.

Don't you feel odd posting a WUP as a deal. It's not really tempting. My Gold/Maxx is $67. Even thru Koby it's not going to drop that much.

I don't think I want to pay $99 for the upgrade since I don't use it. I still don't like the GUI. BTW how many systems can it be installed?

As for upgrading to MP 4.1 I dislike the Expo...Verbs because the licensing is a total 180 from Izotope products.

I don't want to start collecting multiple licenses of those. Lame freebie. You can get it in one of the back issues of CM.

I turned a lead into a pad just using the 1st preset.

I have many delays and a license for this one but Fruity Delay 3 is as good as any.

I really shouldn't have opened this thread but since I was always interested in Majectica I bought it. There went my money for the 3 Modo kits. Oddly enough I probably would rarely use each one anyway. Odd that they compressed the download to a 22gb file. That's asking for trouble.

That's why I wont buy anything from them. I was going to buy a string library but the procedure was quite annoying and removed the impulse purchase.

I prefer MPV and Udemy over Groove 3. Much better on short attention spans. Sad that either don't provide a long term sub. Both did at one time and I took advantage of it. I now hoard tutorials.

IK is not eligible to receive my funds for this since they want me to pony up $199 despite having the recent Total Studio Max 3.5 bundle. If it's a glitch then hopefully they fix it otherwise I won't even consider this. Beware of Toontrack.
