  1. If you are using a VST3 and they have a VST2 version, do Bank Switch Commands + Program Changes work with the VST2 version? I don't have the Sound Canvas VA, but I have found with some plug-ins VST2 version work even if the VST3 version doesn't. Note: I have used several Roland Sound modules (hardware) that use variations of the Sound Canvas tone sets. I think the only software version I have is the old Edirol Sound Canvas.
  2. This issue comes up from time to time, which is the original [recording] and which is the cover? I don't know the answer, But here's a tune I like that might be a cover:
  3. BTW, I updated Analog Lab V on my older Audio PC. No Acid V sample presets. Acid V does work in Demo Mode. Personally, since we get to try all of the presets and play around with the instruments, I think it showcases Acid V more than a handful or two of non-editable presets in Analog V.
  4. Google knows Mt. / Mount Rockmore. Example 1 Example 2 Example 3:
  5. WTF is Mt. Synthmore? Google doesn't seem to know. Did you make that up?
  6. @ralfrobert ASC reports that I have the latest build of Analog Lab. Are you seeing Acid V there? If so, maybe I am looking in the wrong locations. Also, what version do you have?
  7. As of yesterday, I didn't see any after I updated Analog Lab V. That's what prompted me to try the demo and why I suggested trying it in Demo Mode (above). I just checked. I don't see them in Analog V v.5.7.4.371.
  8. Not sure if the video has been redone, moved, or removed.
  9. I tried Acid V (that is, I downloaded and ran it in Demo Mode) and I like the sounds as sounds and over the past 6-8 months I have come to appreciate the way Arturia sets up its Advanced Features. I don't do music that would take advantage of those sounds, but I would encourage others who do to try it in Demo Mode after watching the videos.
  10. I was thinking that the low price for ST4 might be a lead in to a Group Buy type of promotion for the libraries--kind of like Buy 1 ST Library at $29.99 and get up to 88 depending on how many people participate. So, by selling ST4 for $50 they could really generate some serious revenue.
  11. "I started dating a zookeeper, but if you ask me, he should be IN the zoo himself." "Why do you say that?" "Well, he's more of an animal than a human!" "Oh? What kind of an animal is he? "A cheetah."
  12. There should be a thread about giveaways and contests.
  13. I remember there was some discussion about this kind of thing. A forum search for "Google Drive" turned up this thread ("specified folder is read only error"). I am not sure a solution is mentioned, but others seem to have had this issue.
  14. $99 for me not logged in; $49 logged in. It doesn't grab me, though I have tried and do like some of their vintage emulations and Pigments.
  15. The Turtles cover of this Dylan tune has always been a classic: But I just discovered this one--different, but excellent: There are so many other covers, too. Proof that Dylan was a great song writer! He also sings in his inimitable style (though many try to imitate him):
  16. He's really pissed off!!!!!!! Consumers of the World, UNITE!!!!!!!
  17. Yes. Staff View > Edit > Layout. Clarification: In the Staff View pane (not the main CbB menu bar) > Edit (tab) > Layout (option) > Staff Properties > Clef.
  18. Some people can sit, watch, and listen to an entire symphony; other people just want a recording of the greatest hits from the 30 or so "Greatest Symphonies of All Times" that they can turn on an off as they want. Others might just want a set of the "Greatest Guitar Solos of All Times." For some people mp3s playing on ear buds or a single wi-fi speaker in a single location or (on from cell phone playlists in their pockets as they go about from place to place) is enough for them to enjoy music. Some people like the added dimension of seeing performers as the music is created or played. Some people don't. It's a matter of personal preference.
  19. If the "Let's Fix It" problem-solver link doesn't solve it and now they are saying, "please contact customer support," it sounds like they have to unlock something for you. Maybe at the same time they can advise you on how to solve the issue. Hope they get back to you promptly. Please let us know how it turns out.
  20. Some more links if you like this kind of music:
  21. FWIW, here's another one: Lisa Bella Donna - Turning Point (Full Concert) 2021
  22. Thank you!!! I was thinking, "But no one would have misinterpreted the comment without the emoji." I stand by my original comment: but only on principle. ? BTW, after watching the Gary Numan: Android in La La Land documentary that was linked in another thread, I thought of getting rid of all my synths and getting a guitar!!!
