  1. As a fan of E-Mus, this caught my eye. Despite some flaws the RFX-32 add-on was pretty amazing, and the filter controls as implemented in some of the single RU E-Mus gave users tremendous filtering power. So, I Googled "Is minimal audio's Morph EQ based on E-Mu filters?" and found this: I recall you are not a fan of manuals/documentation, but if anyone has links to resource materials online that correlate this plug-in with what the E-Mu's were capable of, please share. E-Mu Resources (for those who like manuals): RFX-32 Manual (Rev C) Ultra Proteus Manual Z-plane filter descriptions: starting on pdf p. 188 [numbered p. 178] See also MIDI implementation for FX parameters. Thanks for mentioning this deal. It might prove to be personally useful to Emulate a number of FX.
  2. Yup. yesterday I tracked some of the ids to mail-chimp campaigns and in at least one case the third-party vendor's tracking system.
  3. There are a few other third party vendors whose sales lists are also being linked via individual posts. JMO: It might be a test run for a denial of service style attack. It starts with new topics in the deals sub forum and then goes to other threads started by others when specific products are discussed by others. Might also be a faux turing thing--human pretending to be a bot.

  6. Please add "Topics started" to the Ignore options. Thanks.
  7. If you see other Track Control "Widgets" but not the one for Output --> [ O ], that could be a Track Control Manager issue. It could be something else, but the Track Control Management box is the first place I'd look. UPDATE: I was able to get the [ O ] track control widget to be missing from a bus, by creating a Custom Track Control Preset and unchecking Output in the Bus Strip column. If you have no idea what I am talking about, try changing the Track Control Preset to "All."
  8. Having used multi-timbral synths, samplers, and sound modules for decades, I was happy to see KV331's plans for SM3 included a multiple layers feature such that each layer would be able to have its own midi channel. After watching the start of this video,** I began playing around with different MIDI I/O channels for the multi-layered presets. Others might be interested, too. **SonicLAB: Exploring SynthMaster 3 with Bulent from SynthMaster
  9. Thanks for the heads up! I was on version 15420. So, I took the extra step of clicking "Check for Updates" (logo in upper left) on your say so and was given the opportunity to download a newer version (which I did.) So thanks for letting us know a release version is out. **Addendum: Inserting a Synthmaster 3 Instrument Track into a project didn't trigger the "new version available" message nor did opening projects with the earlier versions of SM3 in either Cakewalk/Sonar or Voltage Modular.
  10. Yesterday, I saw the PSP VM Ultimate Bundle at JRRShop, also $39. It's probably at other places, too. I have no idea if there are additional discounts at JRRShop or anywhere else with codes. It might pay to shop around at your favorite vendors for discounts and perks (as always).
  11. In fact, it's still there. ATM it has 114 pages.
  12. In my experience, it depends on how you have your computer, Windows, and Cakewalk setup and your usual workflow. I use several customized Workspaces that have various Cakewalk UI elements (windows, panes, etc.) set up to meet different needs. That way I just select a 2 monitor Workspace and I don't have to fiddle around. Maybe you have it setup so you just need to undock the Console (or undock the Multidock) and then move it over and resize it on your second monitor. Without knowing how you have things set up, that would be my first suggestion, sight unseen.

  15. NEWS STORY: "Leonard Riggio, Barnes & Noble founder, dead at 83 - Leonard Riggio, Barnes & Noble founder and former chairman, died at 83" ONLINE COMMENT: "I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend his funeral, I'm all booked up!" Aside: Some people would say he was not the founder in the traditional sense. True, he purchased the rights to the name in 1971, but the store was legendary in NYC long before 1971.
  16. Just to provide a time frame I am now down to 6 more updates to go! Time enough for lunch in addition to more tea!
  17. Thanks. I have been having some issues lately, including with Augmented Yangtze but not the others; so, I hope all is well now! UPDATE: Even the ASC needed to do an auto-update. Time to make another cup of tea and let Update All take its time. I am on pins and needles though--a couple of months ago, GUI issues I have had with Pigments since early 2023 went away without explanation, possibly due to UI changes related to / as a by product of previous Augmented (or other) changes. I have been meaning to tell customer support that the issue they couldn't solve from 2023 to 2024 finally got fixed. So, I am hoping the new fixes haven't re-crippled the graphics in Pigments like the early 2023 update did. 😞
