  1. Remember, a strat has the pickup mounted in the pickguard and the pickup extends up from there. Given the price point, I'd buy one and see if it "works". But that's just me... t
  2. Try here mLaval guitar parts Here's a link to the Lindy Fralin noise canceling single coils t
  3. Yeah, me too! ditto Yes, and the budgie and parrotlet suffered no ill effects here! ?'s ? t
  4. When installing from their Program Manager, I do believe it prompts you to then install the “library”. Install EZD. Open it and select the “setup “ tab. It will let you set the “path” to the samples on your D drive. SD will do the same. HTH, t
  5. Duncan and Lollar both make humbucking sized single coils. There are inserts for putting a Fender style single coil into a humbucker ring. I have a set of Fralin noiseless pickups that I’m pretty happy with. It’s a “blade” style pickup. HTH, t
  6. @aidan o driscoll admittedly there is not enough collaboration on the songs forum. But one more subsection on the forum would seem to me to be a “fool’s errand”. Just my nickel98 there… t
  7. Martin Sharp wrote that one. Clapton used the same basic chord progression as White Room, that he credited to “Summer in the City” IIRC (it was the late sixties) t
  8. No. Tonex software is required, if you have the pedal, Tonex Max is included. There are dozens of videos on YouTube, here is one. You don't even need the pedal. Tonex CS does not included the capture function but Tonex does, currently $99 at IKM. Capture your amps and use them in Amp 5 as Jim suggested above. HTH... t

    F THEM ALL

Great songwriting, vocal and production; and a fine video to top it off! ?'s ? t the guitar is a synth?

    Starfield

Late to the party, the drums just kicked in, and yes, it does elevate the whole thing! ?'s t
  11. On sale right now at Sweetwater, free shipping, 30 day return policy. Pretty much a no-brainer... t
  12. I’ve never seen a good video on using the “drop zone”. Personally I find it very useful, although a bit “fiddly”. I always use a two measure clip, and find you can’t just copy and paste. You have to “bounce” the clip before dropping it. I’ve never worked with EZD outside of CbB so I’m not sure that the issue is all Cake related. Tapping the space bar twice is a small price to pay overall. t
  13. If I only knew now what I thought I knew then, I really would be a bloody genius!
  14. #1 - Yes it does dropout - always has, and the remedy is to tap the space bar twice #2 - I've had it do both - I don't know what I did differently - evidently something #3 - No Dropout #4 - No Dropout HTH, t
  15. Go into plug-in manager and exclude Phoenix Verb. That should do it. t
  16. I too get the audio engine stopped. The work around is to tap the space bar and start the project for a moment. Then I go back to EZD and audition the results. Annoying, but works. I like your work around better. I’ll give it a try and report back. t
  17. EZDrummer is easier, and Superior Drummer is well; Superior. just sayin’ t
  18. I’d forgotten about that. Thanks for re-enabling a little PTSD ?. IIRC it blew up the routing and could muck up all the midi routing in a project? Now I have to thank myself for a little “quiver”; ouch! I’m sure TT has it dialed in ?. t as he mutters to himself there’s no place like home, there’s no place like home…

Hey, I might resemble that remark. My mother used to say she always wanted a little red-headed boy with freckles. I got me some freckles. Fortunately the head was blonde, no red til the beard came in... t ?
