Please convey that to him for me as well. I can’t PM there at KVR because my post count is too low. I guess I could just “post” twice (that’s right, two posts) but when I was offered a “charter” membership to Procrastinators Unanimous, well I just never got around to it… t

Question about subscription policy and prices
DeeringAmps replied to ManuelGuerrero's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
Yes, no problem there. I am running Sonar on two systems. As to the 3 day trial; IIRC, I agreed to the monthly payment when I started the trial. I have since remained on the monthly plan. Trying to take advantage of one of the discounted yearly plans I was advised to “cancel” my subscription (Sonar continued working just fine, meaning I could save my work) but I could not purchase the yearly until my monthly expired. Well in my case the “offer” expired before my existing monthly, and I missed it (frustrating, but that’s a different discussion). My advice, and I hope I’m right. Cancel now, Sonar should continue to work (by “work” I mean you can save your projects). Whether or not you will be offered the discounted price after your 3 day expires? That remains a mystery. Keep us in the loop! t -
“File save as” works here. Got internal and external drives for the backups. Just remember to tick the “include audio” box. t could have said; “piece of cake really”. Whoops, maybe I just did! ?

@Johnbee58 today I fired up my “office rig”, it’s been offline well over a month. I launched CbB and sure enough, I got two toasts (or whatever they are called). One “there is an updated version available” and number two “you must reactivate”. That one has a button “sign in to BandLab” I did and CbB reactivated flawlessly. Then I updated to 2024.7, again flawlessly. One note I always “open folder” and close CbB before I run the update. BTW, did the exact same thing in Sonar, it all went flawless. So as @Bristol_Joneseysaid; “Pretty sure you’ll be ok” HTH, t

Only the MASTER should go to the interface. All the other busses should route to the MASTER. As time goes on you’ll probably want to create AUX tracks for your reverbs and delays. But, let’s get started and do the “advanced” stuff later.., HTH, t

Have they added per plugin oversampling yet like Reaper has?
DeeringAmps replied to JeffSouth's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
You mean like this? HOLD ON! According to the old documentation its 2x. As you can see you simply select when you want it to upsample... t -
Hey @Bapu do you use these? Vintage Studio Bundle Hitsville Reverb, Helios 69 EQ and Pre, Oxide Tape and Fairchild Bundle. $49 each or $59 for the bundle, ends 11 August. TIA, t

Liked this a lot, the SC version is diffidently more "polished" as @Lynn Wilson said. You're a guitar player; I have that right? For me the piano is just a bit "stiff", it needs a little "swing" I think. If you played it in, did you quantize? (if you're a piano player, well then I've got some egg on my face...) Good bit of songwriting! t Oh, and as always, left a like and comment over to SC (would have at BL as well, but this is the final version; right?)

How Would I Uninstall Sonar? (Temporarily)
DeeringAmps replied to Johnbee58's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
I'd just leave it. CbB and Sonar coexist without issue and it's not taking up very much space. Add/Remove works, and a reinstall shouldn't be a problem. Perhaps one of IT more savvy will chime in and set you up if any info I've given is wrong... t -
Whom to contact about licensing options?

We have been directed to the generic submission form. Perhaps someone in the backend can be tasked with adding that @Ashwin Rao? t -
Reference Guide and Help for Making the Transition to Sonar
DeeringAmps replied to aleo's topic in Feedback Loop
@aleo Sonar and CbB coexist with no problem. In fact Sonar will ask if you wish to install with your CbB settings. IIRC I did have to go into the file page in preferences and link to the folders where I keep everything. I don’t keep data on my C drive, that’s just a “thing” for me. Anything that any program wants to put in “users” on the C drive; no dice. So far Sonar is not much different than a “normal” update; so really no “learning curve” yet. HTH, t pretty much what Glenn said. I was typing while his post went up. Great minds think alike? ? -
Whom to contact about licensing options?
DeeringAmps replied to Starship Krupa's topic in Cakewalk Sonar
@Terry Kelley, et al. I understand exactly how you’ve come to your opinion, but perhaps, given the fact that input has been solicited, we should give BL the benefit of the doubt? Time will tell. I, for one, understand completely that BL is trying to build membership. I don’t have a problem with BL monetizing the DAW. Would I prefer to have a perpetual license; hell ya! Do I need/want the “perks” that membership brings? I will probably never explore them. Will I “pay to play” for my favorite DAW; yup! And if that’s a subscription; so be it! YMMV t -
Somehow this one snuck by me. Comment and like at SC ?’s ? t
