  1. So far we’ve talked about the move, and that’s great; welcome to the PacNW! (interestingly enough, I just left the great NW, after 45 years and returned home to the Golden West, but that’s another story…) What we haven’t discussed is your new studio. Are you looking for design help, or design and build help? There is a forum member, @Glenn Stanton, that was very involved on the the old John Sayers design site, you should at least have a conversation with. best wishes for your new home, t
  2. So is this the no-brainer “buy it” price for those that have none of the UJam bases? t
  3. CbB does that Import>From CD From the main File drop down IIRC. I just pull up YT, hit record in CbB, we’ll actually, in Sonar now. As if by magic, Boom, reference track. $15, is a no brainer, off to YT to sign up; thanks Path! t
  4. I don’t know, I’ve never seen it discussed. Or more correctly, I’ve never seen it explained. t
  5. Remind me how I do that… t old dog here, new tricks are hard
  6. Best thing that ever happened to S1! If you are comfortable in CbB, install and use. The footprint is small and uninstalling later won’t be an issue. t
  7. You don't think they are simply trying to increase their paid BandLab user base? We are all "members" by virtue of using CbB, but they want to increase the "paid" membership; simple as that IMHO. t
  8. So is this the no brainer “buy it now” price? TIA, t
  9. Send it to an aux channel. I generally have two aux channels for vocals. One is reverb and one is delay. The vocal has, for example, a desser, then eq, then compression. The processed vocal then goes to the two aux channels. HTH, t
  10. As a man “of a certain age” I get the “confused” part. Looks like Wooks and Bristol may have your issue solved. ? t
  11. If you do a “complete” uninstall of CbB, by that I mean delete all folders, you will delete the VST dll’s in Cakewalk\vstplugins. That WILL affect your VST2 VST’s. VST3 plugs should not be affected because that folder is NOT in the Cakewalk tree. You should NOT have to uninstall CbB to get DimPro working. t on my phone, so I can’t check my Studio rig, but I think both it and my office rig have DimPro and Rapture Pro working.
  12. Yes. Sonar is “pay to play”. Cakewalk by BandLab is free. For how long? That’s the question. However recent info released by BandLab suggests that CbB will be around for some time. HTH, t
  13. Yes, they regularly where in the $80-90 range. But $107-110 has been the price for awhile now. I stocked up when Best had it’s $29 savings the end of February. t
  14. The "deal" comes when using a generic serial number from a midi "six pack"! From Thomann Music From Best Service You can thank us later... t and @Bapu
  15. I have experienced something eerily similar to F here many times when the vibrations are right. t
  16. All groupies must bow down when Am is resonating…
  17. Are these crashes in specific projects, or across multiple projects? During playback, or when attempting specific tasks? If I had to guess, it’s a plugin. Pick a project, one that’s very problematic, and bypass all effects. Add them back one at a time. Maybe @Noel Borthwick will drop by and remind us where to find the files necessary to answer the question… t
  18. @JonD Here is The Plan. You will find details on Sonar here. This is what we know about CbB. Evidently that means that CbB isn't going anywhere soon t if I think of/find anything else I'll update accordingly...
  19. @Pathfinder I think the thread in question was deleted. I can't see it either. Once a thread has said all there is to say it makes sense to lock it. It also makes sense to delete threads that really contain no useful information and serve only to bring on the trolls and chaos. just my nickel98, but in your heart; you know what I mean... t
